But, she didn't, the waiter insisted. The master and mistress were angry not only about him slandering their daughter, but also suspected that it was him who was hiding their daughter. They brought the waiter to the officials to be tried, and also seek help from them to find their missing daughter. After the official responsible for the case cleared the waiter of guilt, the waiter angrily resigned from the Xu family's restaurant while cursing.
