The collision of two blades made a loud clang as Lin Ze blocked the suspicious person's dagger with his sabre.
The suspicious person's eyes widened as he looked at Lin Ze in shock. He is just trying to test these two people whether they are really innocent or not. But, who knew that they really aren't!
"I knew it!" He gnashed his teeth in anger as he retreated when he felt that his hand became numb from the impact when his dagger collided with the sabre. "You really are Jin Peng's friends!" He said as he glared at Lin Ze and Meng Xing.
Lin Ze. "???" what is this lunatic talking about? Who is friends with that disgusting maniac?
"But, too bad, I already killed him!" the person said.
Lin Ze frowned. "Were you the one who killed Wen Liao, too?" he asked.
The suspicious person froze and he looked at Lin Ze. "... you are not Jin Peng's people?" he asked and frowned. Then his brows knitted as he stared at them. He doesn't know who these people are, since he never has seen them in jianghu.
His expression changed. A disguise? He thought and immediately turned to escape. But, he is too slow for Lin Ze. Lin Ze already blocked his way and fought with him, wanted to interrogate him.
"Why did you kill Wen Liao?" Lin Ze asked. "Who are you? What is your purpose in killing Jin Peng, too?" he asked and frowned.
"Fck!" the suspicious person loudly cursed in anger as he was forced to retreat from Lin Ze's blows. If he knew that it wasn't Jin Peng who stole 'that' from Wen Liao, he wouldn't go here, much less bump into these two people!
Wait... 'two' people? He thought and glanced at Meng Xing who was standing on the side while watching them. This other person doesn't look like he is a practitioner! His eyes flashed.
"Ugh!" he cried when Lin Ze's sabre wounded his arm. But, his feet were already facing Meng Xing's direction and he rushed towards Meng Xing, intending to take him hostage!

Lin Ze's eyes widened, stunned, when he saw Meng Xing fell! "MENG XING!" he shouted and rushed towards Meng Xing, passing by the suspicious person who was still dumbfounded by Meng Xing's fall.
He hasn't seen such a stupid person! But, he seized this chance to escape.
"Aaaaaaah!!!" Meng Xing screamed as he hang on the balcony of the room beneath them earlier.
"Meng Xing!" Lin Ze called and immediately jumped down the balcony to help him. Fortunately, the people earlier have already left their rooms after they heard that terrified scream. "Meng Xing, I got you – " he said and grabbed Meng Xing's hand to pull him up.
But, who knew that Meng Xing would be tok 'scared' and 'panicked' and move restlessly?
"Ah!" Lin Ze muttered when he felt a pull, and his body moved forward. He was taken aback, and so it was too late for him to react.
SPLASH! Both of them fell on the cold lake.
"Ai, boss..." Qiu Liu who was done checking Jin Peng's room sighed as he looked at the two people who surfaced from the water.
Their boss is really petty and would pit Lin Ze for every chance that their boss would find, even go as far as falling on the cold lake despite he would also fall there, too. Lin Ze is really unlucky that he provoked this god of bad luck.
Qiu Liu's expression changed as he looked at the people chattering in low voices.
"Who do you think did it?" they asked, referring to the person who killed Jin Peng.

Everyone looked at the woman who was with Jin Peng earlier.

The people gasped and immediately whispered to each other, thinking that Meng Xing was forced by Lin Ze for some bed play.
Qiu Liu. "..." boss, isn't it you who is playing too much? He thought and looked at Meng Xing with his face covered in black lines.
Meng Xing saw Qiu Liu. "I can take care of myself from hereon!" he told Lin Ze and then left.
Qiu Liu secretly left to follow Meng Xing while Lin Ze's face looked so stormy, especially after he heard a familiar voice not far from him.
"Oh, my god! I didn't expect to hear such a wild story here!" Lin Yao exclaimed in shock as he looked at Lin Ze who is in disguise.
