Nick's next class was tech, so he could see George and bear him the news.

„Hi George!" Nick greeted George happily. „Oh, hi Nick!"
„I've invited Karl over to us for lunch, i hope that's alright?"
„I mean sure, and he actually agreed to come?"
„Well we were paired for a bio project so we have to get along somehow."
„Oh, cool. Does he know his entire old group is gonna be there?"
„Yes, pretty much. I told him."
„huh. Guess we'll see if he's coming."

As soon as the lunch bell hit, everyone scribbled down their homework and went ahead to pack their bags and leave. When Nick and George were done, they firmly ran to the oval, just to be the first ones there. But they weren't. Tommy had had P.E. before, so he was the first one.
„Aw man! Can't we be first for once?" Nick scoffed.
„Nuh-uh. Not on Mondays when i literally have P.E. right before lunch like 50 meters from here."
„Guess we'll have to accept our fate. Anyway, i invited Karl to eat with us, is that okay with you, toms?" Nick replied to the blonde boy.
„Yea sure! Actually i've also invited someone, he should be here in a minute." Tommy said.

A few moments later, three people were on their way to the trio, they all came from differ directions. Wilbur came from the science building, Karl from the bandstand, Nick didn't even know he was interested in music. Nick in fact didn't know anything about Karl. And there was another, very short boy with brown hair, coming from the gym.

Tommy waved to him. „AYYY TUBSO!"
„Hi boss man." The short guy started. „And hi everyone else, i'm Tubbo." And Tubbo smiled softly. „Hi man, i'm Nick, this is George, and you already know Tommy."
Wilbur chimed in. „Oh hi Toby, didn't expect you to join us."
„Hi Will!" Tubbo said.
Nick opened his mouth to speak, when suddenly someone appeared behind him and put a hand on his shoulder.
„Hi." Karl said. Nick turned around in shock as he didn't expect his ‚friend' yet. „Oh, hi." He managed to bring out. Nick could feel that he was red. Was he blushing?

Oh yea. Nick had forgotten about that.

„Oh, hi Karl. Didn't see you in a long time, you alright?" Wilbur asked.
„Yea i'm fine, thanks."
„Cool. So what have you been up to?"
„Well I'm learning the drums and i go skating occasionally."
„Nice, glad the incident doesn't affect you that much anymore."
„Wilbur why the fuck would you bring that up now?" Tommy complained.
„Why?"
„Saturday was the anniversary!" Tommy whispered.
„Ohhh. Oh. Oh my god I am so sorry." Wilbur apologized, Tubbo looked really confused. „What incident?"
„I'll teach you about it later tubs. But for now, let's just eat and enjoy the time." Tommy demanded.

„Hey uhm, can i sit next to you Nick? I kinda don't know anyone else here." Karl asked quietly.
„Yea sure, i mean you do know George?"
„Yes, buuut, you know. We haven't spoken in at least half a year."
„Huh. So i heard you play the drums?"
„Yea i do, and i'm quite good at it as well."
„Maybe we should make a band. I play the guitar."
„Actually? Do you? What's the hardest song you can play?"
„oh i think another one bites the dust's a pretty hard one, you?"
„Another one bites the dust? Damn. Well i can play Freaks by Surf Curse."
„Actually? That's cool."
„Hey you guys, what're you talking about?" Wilbur asked as he sat down. „Sorry 'bout earlier by the way."
„Oh it's okay." Karl said quietly.
„We were just talking about instruments we can play, can you play an instrument, Will?" Nick questioned.
„Yea i can actually! I play Bass and the Guitar."
„Cool, hardest song you can play? On either one, doesn't matter."
„Ooh i think that would be one i wrote myself. But it doesn't count because it's not released and it doesn't even have a na-"
„Wilbur it does count." Nick cut him off.
„Does it?"
