Chapter 4: Sun vs Wind

As Tanjiro was walking down the halls to the inside of the dome, he couldn't help but be nervous. Not just because he's facing a Hashira but he's also facing his sister's killer, which is something he's been waiting and training for for the last seven years.

He isn't afraid of Sanemi but he's afraid that if he looses then all those years of training, waiting and hardwork will go to waste.

But his face changed from nervousness to anger once he was finally face to face with the man with scars with a smirk on his face. Tanjiro decided then and there that he was gonna make this fight memorable for the wind piller. Sanemi still sees Tanjiro as that obnoxious kid who carried a demon around.

But before the fight started, Sanemi decided to get in Tanjiro's head a little. "Hey hard head, your wife may have been lucky, but trust me when I'm done with you, you'll wish you hadn't trained to be a slayer. It's funny how a little puny boy like you thinks he can win against a Hashira, especially a second ranked Hashira like myself", he said and Tanjiro gripped his sword and gritted his teeth.

"Ya know failures don't really fall far from the tree, after this fight you'll just end up like your poor little sister"

Those words triggered something in Tanjiro to the point that he waited for no bell and rushed in towards Sanemi with inhumane speed.

Even Sanemi was caught off guard as he took out his sword and was prepared for a fight.

*WHAM*

But was again caught off guard when Tanjiro appeared beside him and punched him hard in the jaw causing a faint cracking sound to be heard.

This had everyone shocked as Sanemi picked himself up and charged towards Tanjiro. His quick wind like movements were swinging away at Tanjiro's head, but Tanjiro was quick to react after the fifth horizon swing from Sanemi as he proceeded to jump on one hand and double kick Sanemi in the gut.

He then pushed himself off from Sanemi's leg with the tip of his toes as he bicycle kicks with the back of his heel in Sanemi's jaw as he flipped himself upright.

Sanemi was stunned as he picks himself up and quickly flips over Tanjiro's low side and landed right behind the red head.

Sanemi was going to go for a clean cut at the top of the head until Tanjiro backed up against Sanemi and elbows him in the ribs while pushing himself off of him whilst grabbing his arms and flipping the wind piller over his shoulder and slamming him onto the ground.

But as Sanemi twists his body around while using the momentum whilst attempting a slicing kick towards Tanjiro, Tanjiro easily avoided it by flipping to his side whilst lowering his upper body and twisting for a sweep kick.

But Sanemi immediately spun himself in mid air to avoid it as he inhaled some air whilst veins grew on his neck.

"Wind breathing second form: Claws purifying wind and proceeds to strike down four vertical slashes down onto Tanjiro.

But when the claws hit him it seems that Tanjiro spread apart in a colourful flame which had everyone shocked.

"Eleventh Form: Fake rainbow", Tanjiro said.

Tanjiro then reappeared under Sanemi and and grabbed his legs and proceeded to jump up, spin a full 360°, slammed the almighty wind Hashira down on the floor with everyone besides his wife and child in shock as the wind piller just got the wond knocked out of him.

"Why is Tanjiro fighting like this, he is a demon slayer and he should be using his sword!", Iguro said trying to scold the red head but Aika looked at him with a scowl.
