Chapter 3: Butterfly vs Flower

It was 8:30 and everyone was busy preparing for this afternoon.

Aika had gotten up 30 minutes ago and she's still groggy. She's never really been a morning person.

"So are you excited to see mommy and daddy fight the Hashira?", Himari asked Aika whilst placing a bowl of cereal in front of her.

Aika nodded and took a spoonful bite of her cereal. "Mhm, I've always wanted to see them fight other demon slayers", she said.

"Good morning everyone", a man with black hair which faded to white and green eyes said. "Uncle Akio!", Aika said happily.

Akio smiled and walked up and ruffled her hair. "Morning jelly bean, sorry I couldn't see you last night but I had a mission"

"It's okay, at least you're here now", Aika said cheerfully.

"So where's Tanjiro and Kanao?", Akio asked whilst giving Cho a kiss on her forehead.

"They're training in the training room, I told them they should take a break but they just wouldn't listen", Cho said whilst feeding Kanata a spoonful of banana puree.

"Well that's Tanjiro and Kanao for ya, they are really stubborn", Akio said walking up to Kanata, "aww Kanata's growing so big now"

"I know right, it seems just like yesterday when Tanjiro and Kanao showed us a picture of a newborn Kanata", Cho answered.

"Ya know if you two get married already then you'll have one of your own~", Himari teased making the two blush.

"We're not getting married.... yet", Akio said making Cho blush even more.

"I'm jealous of your relationship ya know, before the Kamado's returned I was the single third wheeler here", Himari said with a pout.

"Well if you considered going out and meeting someone then we wouldn't be having this conversation", Cho said.

Himari smiled with a tick mark. She hates it when Cho brings that up.

"Good morning everyone", Tanjiro said whilst he and Kanao entered the kitchen.

"Morning", Himari said.

"Akio!", Tanjiro and Kanao said as they ran up to their old friend and gave him a hug.

"Hey guys, long time no see", Akio said as they broke the hug.

"Long time indeed", said Kanao.

"Anyways are you two ready for the fight today?", Cho asked.

"Yes we are", the couple answered.

"My mommy and daddy are gonna win", Aika said whilst raising her fists in the air.

"Aww you're so cute!", Tanjiro gushed as he walked up to Aika and planted good morning kisses on her face.

Everyone laughed at the father daughter duo.

"Wow this place is so cool!", Aika said whilst looking at Kimetsu high building.

"Wait until you see the headquarters", Kanao said with a smirk. They all entered and went to the library.

They opened the secret door and they were now in the headquarters.

The other Hashira were already there and they turned to see Tanjiro and Kanao in with three other demon slayers and two little kids.

"Ah I'm glad you could make it my children", Kagaya said with a smile. He looked at Akio, Himari and Cho. "I see these three have been the ones helping you two"
