Molly POV:

Friday October 18 2022

I ran to the lunch room and spotted Suzie and Dustin. As much as i didn't want to intrude on their moment, i really needed to get out of my situation. I know i looked stupid apologizing but i didn't want him to be upset with me, especially because of Max. We have enough problems on our own. I don't know exactly what i did but if i made him upset i would've appreciated if he told me what so i could've apologized and fixed it.

I walked closer to Dustin and Suzie listening in quickly to make sure i didn't intrude before walking up to the table and sitting down. 

"Well hello Malls" Dustin spoke with a smirk.

"I'm living in your walls and will get revenge." i spoke back. 

"I guess it should be hi mole instead" Suzie laughed. I smiled.

"What's got you so frazzled?" She continued while taking another spoonful from her thermos. She doesn't really like cafeteria food, rightfully so, there's very few things that taste good and edible.

"Nothing just social studies" i answered semi-truthfully.

"Oof that sucks" Dustin responded as Suzie playfully rolled her eyes as it choice of words.

"How many times do you say 'oof 'or 'slay' in a day Dustybun?" Suzie asked with a playful smirk.

"It's now a natural part of my vocabulary!" He exclaimed.

"Slay i guess" i spoke. Suzie mocked offense as Dustin stuck out his tongue at Suzie.

It was all going good until i looked back to see the previous group i abandoned looking at me from the cafeteria doors. I quickly looked back to Suzie and Dustin and watched them bicker as i pretended to not be internally freaking out. 

I felt a presence behind me and me, Dustin and Suzie looked up to see Will. 

He looked at me in a 'What happened' way but i heavily dislike confrontation and therefore pretended i didn't know what he was talking about. Suzie and Dustin greeted him hastily before going back to bickering.

Will pulled out his phone and texted me:

    >Nothing just a misunderstanding.

Even during class after your answer you seemed weird, did Lucas say something?<

 >  it's actually nothing just drop it. It not always your problem to fix .

Molly.<

 >In class when i answered after Lucas he became upset with me and I'm not completely sure why. That's all i just want to know what i did.

I looked up to see Will smiling at me and i smiled back before i decided to join Dustin and Suzie's conversation. This is why me and Will are so close we understand and trust each other.

Will POV: (This takes place right after the other group looked over while waiting for Will's input)

I'm glad she's ok. I thought it might've had something to do with her parents but thankfully not. I know how it feels with Lonnie and all. 

I was going to text the others about it but i also didn't know how. I had Max's number but i don't want her to get mad at Lucas. Molly said it was a misunderstanding, but i don't want Max and Lucas to break up again. 

I couldn't ask Mike for his number, that would put a damper on my 'lose the feelings' plan. Lucas doesn't seem to be on great terms with our group(for some inexplicable reason) so that's plan b if anything. Jane. I could text Jane, but she might get mad at Lucas for hurting Molly and therefore spill it to Max if she rants to her. 

Every option sucks. I decided that texting Max and asking for Mike's number might work. So i did just that.
