It was once a rainy, dreary Thursday evening. No sound at the scene, except for the rhythm of the raindrops on the streets. After a nightly gym sessioin, I noticed a sign on a streetlamp. It had a portrait with faces familliar to me: a dog, a turtle, and an elephant, who are all legless, and ride the force of gravity. I noticed something underneath that image: "A show is starting at an abandoned department store! Superstars known as Spyra's Cartoon Heroes are invited to preform...playing games in the world of Hasbro! Including Twister, Bop-It Extreme, Connect Four, Mouse Trap and Jenga. Airing this Friday night exclusively on Channel 6 at 6:30 PM. Hosted by everyone's favorite wobbly Weebles, Bumpus Wobbleworks, Tooey Winkington, and Tibby Wobnobbin. See you there!"
I got so excited, I rushed back to my palace to report this to my team, the Cartoon Heroes.
"Boys! Guess what!" I shouted. "We're invited to a game night of some sort!
"HEY! I know those fellas! I went to their home town once." said MC Ballyhoo.
"The dog and turtle I recognize from a previous adventure we all did together." said Komodo.
"The company that created the professor kinda hates the company who created those guys." said Lemmy.
"And I know the reason why they don't have any legs." said Lazlo.
"Whatever you're talking about, I heard all about it!" said wacky Professor Quigley, walking into the room. "Multiverse Game Night is what they call it. We're going to play beloved tabletop games, but life-size and with a twist!"
"I just can't wait to show the rest of the multiverse what being a traditional game superstar is like." I said.
That morning, at the area where everything is about to take place, everything was being set up. Little vertical checker pieces were anticipated, and a half-nude man with sheer medical issues felt worried. A dog with gold fur and shaggy brown hair looked at what was going on.
"Everything looks so lively." said Tibby Wobnobbin. "The peices of Connect Four seem excited. And my idea of a five-face Twister will sure be fun!"
"Indeed, it is all boastful and energetic." said Tooey Winkington. "The multiverse will adore the magic of beloved tabletop games we're putting together."
"I agree to you both." said Bumpus Wobbleworks. "The dragoness and her Cartoon Heroes will have so much fun together in this competitive-looking circus. We can't do the hosting and announcing in our normal clothes. We'll have to wear something...formal."
"Where are we? A funeral?"
"No, Tooey. This fedora and vest is yours. Tibby, don this blazer and short top hat. You two will love the outfit I'm about to wear."
"This fabric is a little bit heavy, but still glossy. Is it satin lining our hats and arrow collars?"
"Yes it is, Tibby." Said Bumpus, donning a tuxedo that looks like one a circus ringmaster would wear, complete with a platinum satin cape and cufflinks. "A little spoiler, these suits will fit you both perfectly. You don't have to wear them right away."
