Richie woke up the next morning, Eddie getting ready in the bathroom. He looked up, everything blurry without his glasses.

"Eds..?" Richie sat up on his elbow, confused as Eddie shot a glance at him.

"Oh, morning Rich." He said, walking over to Richie.

"What are you doin here Eddie- isn't it a school day?"

"It is, I'm here to help you out, I guess I fell asleep here, but I went home, got what I needed and came back to help," Eddie said, sitting down next to Richie.

Richie's hair stuck up in multiple different places, his face still confused as to why there was a figure that looked like Eddie in his room.

"Oh.." he said, sitting up all the way. "How's your mom?"

"Really, Richie?" Eddie says, looking pathetically at the boy.

"No, no, not like that. I mean, she did get hurt yesterday, right?"

"Ohh," Eddie started, placing his fingers on the bridge of his nose. "She's completely fine, I got back and she was fine, apparently she had just passed out in shock that someone entered her home. Took me forever to convince her to let me leave again."

"Ah." Richie said. He then stood up and walked over to his bathroom, stopping half way there. "Wait, what time is it?"

"We have about an hour before school, so you have time to shower if you need."

"Oh ok, just making sure. I'm not about to show up to school for the fourth day looking like a homeless person." Richie laughed, then walked into his bathroom, closing the door behind him.

Eddie stared at the door, thinking of everything Mrs. Tozier had told him. The thing that brought him to those thoughts were Richie's sentence. Only two words, 'homeless person.'

Eddie put his head in his hands, thinking about the fact that Richie hadn't gone home after their fight. He couldn't help but think it was his fault, and he started tearing up. He stared at the ground, multiple thoughts running through his head.

Then he heard it. Bang. Eddie's head shot up towards the bathroom door, where the sound had come from.

"Richie? You alright in there..?"

Silence. He heard a loud grunt.

"Yep. Fine. Somehow managed to fall
over-" Eddie couldn't help but laugh at the image of Richie falling over in the shower.

Richie heard Eddie's laughter and smiled. "HeyYyY! It's not funnyYY!" Richie laughed, and Eddie continued to holler of laughter.

It had been ten minutes until Richie came out of the bathroom, fully clothed ready for school. His hair was still wet, and a lot straighter.

"How the fuck do you use a hair dryer-?" Richie asked, causing Eddie to laugh a little. He walked over to the bathroom, and helped Richie dry his hair.

"This is boringggg," Richie complained.

"What??" Eddie asked, not being able to hear him over the sound of the blow dryer.

"THIS IS BORINGGG," he yelled.

"That sucks!" Eddie yelled back.

Richie set his elbows on the counter in the bathroom, chin in his hands.

Once Eddie finished drying his hair, it was all puffed up and crazy. He started laughing and Richie was confused. He gave Rich a mirror, and he himself started laughing along with Eddie.

Richie brushed his hair down, still having his usual crazy curls, and they set downstairs. Maggie spotted them, and smiled. She had been making breakfast for the three of them, and by the time Richie and Eddie had come down, it was done.
