Chapter 6:
"No, Gabriel!" I said as I walked down the stairs with Gabriel trailing behind me.
"But Ma'am you might be in danger if we don't come with you." His persistent attitude really ticks my patience off the edge.
I turned around to face him. "I'm just taking a quick jog, that's all." I tied my hair in a ponytail as I turned my back from him.
I heard him exhale. "Okay, but I will just be giving you 30 minutes and if you're still not here after 30 minutes I'll personally come and howl you back here."
I smiled inwardly.
"Alright. Bye!" I shouted as I closed the front door of my house.
I decided to jog around my neighborhood because unfortunately I can't go too far because if Gabriel finds out that I went further away from the house I'm sure he'll lock me up in my bedroom when I get back.
I've been jogging for almost fifteen minutes now and I'm already sweating like a pig. My sweat trickled down my face and down to my neck, unfortunately I forgot to bring a towel with me.
Anyways I'm taking a bath when I get home so I just ignored the fact that I'm already feeling sticky due to my sweaty state.
I continued to jog and this time I'm jogging back to the house because I only got 5 minutes left.
"Clarisse!" An all too familiar voice called out behind me.
I stopped dead on my tracks. Please don't let it be him, I said to myself as I turned around.
There he is standing like an adonis, Tall, handsome and absolutely muscular, but I was surprised to see a dog beside him.
A huge Leonberger is beside him with a leash on its neck that Seth holds in his left hand in order to restrain the enormous dog from escaping.
"What are you doing here, Seth?" I furrowed my eyebrows and scanned his face for an answer.
He was smirking down at me which made my skin hum with a feeling I can't quite describe. "Is that your wet look, Clarisse?" His lips curved in a sly smile.
My eye twitched in annoyance. Arrogant Prick. "Just answer the question, Marshall."
He tsked at me. "You know Clar, I've been calling you by your first name but you keep on insisting in calling me by my last name, Why is that?" He asked playfully. The dog beside him is now barking at me.
"See!.." he pointed at the dog. "Even Rufus agrees with me."
Rufus?
Argh. I swear if he's trying to test my patience I'm going to cut his balls out.
Seeing that I'm not in the greatest of moods he gave up and exhaled. "Alright, I came here because I wanted to tell you something." He said while he adjusted his grip on Rufus' leash.
I suddenly remembered that I really need to hurry back to the house, I'm sure Gabriel is already waiting for me. I sighed, "You know I'm really in a hurry right now so lets just talk about this at my house."
"Alright. Lead the way Madame." He bowed mockingly at me.
I rolled my eyes and headed back to the house with Seth and his huge dog behind me.

"I have to say, this house is beautiful. Simple yet beautiful." He said as he sat down on the chair beside the pianoforte.
At first when we got back Gabriel instantly greeted me with a bucket full of scolding but when he saw Seth standing beside me he instantly clamped his mouth shut and stopped blabbering at me.
