Chapter - 10

All family members are having their dinner while NK and her team is in sanajana room , doing there work regarding the case.

Priya and pragya have called them for dinner but they didn't come down only said that they have order something for them , so they will have that.

After having dinner all are going towards there room when door bell ring. All frown in confused that who can be at this late.

Ram and abhishek were going towards door when karan and faizuddin stop them.

" Mr. Mehra and Malhotra you all go and sleep, it is just a delivery boy who has come to deliver the food, so just go and take rest." Karan said coming downstairs.

Till then faizuddin come back with their food.

" Karan you guys go and have your dinner, we are also going to sleep. But if you need anything then let me know." Priya said.

" Yeah sure Mrs Malhotra , Good night everyone. " Karan nodded .

All greet them and left for their room.

Karan and faizuddin reach sanjana room where others are present.

Monami, Koyel are lying on the bed while Siddharth and Sanjana are lying on the bean bag. While NK is sitting on a chair near the window but she is sitting as if no one can see her from outside but she can see them.

Monami and Sanjana served food to all of them. Everyone ate food while talking to each other. They were enjoying their conversation in which they talked about the case or some random jokes.
NK may be a harsh, arrogant, dangerous and heartless woman to outsiders but she is also caring and loving to her people and team members.
She can never hear anything against her team and can never let anything happen to them. And at the same time, she knows very well that she means a lot to them. She is like a guide, inspiration, elder sister to them. And she is the only person they have as their family.

After having food, everyone sits there quietly as it gives them peace.

After some time, they again start looking for another case which NK was solving before coming here.
(remember in previous chapter Karan and sanjana has goes out of the town for 2 to 3 days with NK regarding case... It's the same case they are solving now.)

At around 1 am they fall asleep in each other's arms. Like Karan is sitting on the bed and Monami is in his arms while Koyel is sleeping on Monami's lap and Faizuddin is on her lap. While Siddharth and Sanjana are sleeping on the bean bag.
Seeing them sleeping in each other's arms brought a light smile on NK's face. She got up from her chair and closed the laptop and placed it on the table. Then she took out a quilt from the cupboard and wrapped all the couples.

After seeing them for the last time, she came to the balcony and started looking at the starry sky. Don't know when a tear fell from her eyes, she was looking nowhere in the sky.

" I miss you." NK whispered into the peaceful starry night. "Hope you are well and living a peaceful life" NK said closing her eyes and wrap her arms around herself tightly.

After taking a deep breath NK come inside and start working on her laptop. After working for 1 hour , she sleep on chair itself.
