It was now lunch time, Danny told the guys that he'll be eating with Sandy, of course they understood. Danny waited out in the hall for class to be done and when the school bell rang, all of the kids walked out of the class. Danny saw Sandy walking out, so he walked over to her and kissed her temple and cupped her cheeks. "You ok, darlin'?" He asked her.

Sandy just gave him a weak nod.

"C'mon, I wanna have lunch with you." Danny told her.

Sandy smiled at him and kissed his cheek.

"You are so sweet." She told him.

Danny smirked at her and kissed her cheek.

"Let's go." Danny smiled as he held her hand.

They both walked down the hall to the cafeteria and got their lunches. They sat at a table, outside.

"This is nice." Sandy smiled.

Danny smiled at her and held her hand.

"I'd do anything for ya." He told her.

Sandy blushes at him.

"Will you excuse me? I have to use the lady's room." She said.

"Want me to walk you?" He asked her.

Sandy smiled at the protectiveness, she loved how protective he was.

"I'll be fine. I promise." She said, getting up.

"You sure?" He asked.

"Yes, I'm sure." She assured him.

She quickly ran back inside and how to hall, walking down the bathroom and did her business. But once she was done using the bathroom and walked back out to the hall, she met Bruno, feeling trapped and scared again.

"Please leave me alone!" She begs.

But Bruno slaps her in the face.

"How dare you speak to me like that?" He asked angrily.

He quickly grabs her wrist, making her winced in pain.

"O-ow, you're hurting me!" She cried out.

"Who is that greaseball you're with?" He asked angrily.

"M-my boyfriend." She stammers, trying to slip out of Bruno's grip.

"Why would a guy like him date a damsel like you?" He asked as he pushed her against the wall.

"Please..." Sandy whispers. "S-stop..."

"If you tell that pretty boy or anyone else, you are gonna be a sorry girl. Ya hear?" He snarled.

Sandy shakily nods her head.

"Good." He said. "Now get outta my face!"

He roughly pushes her down to the floor before storming off, while Sandy cries on the floor. Feeling scared, alone and hopeless. She was terrified of him and what he'd do to her if she told somebody about him.

"Sandy!" She heard Danny call out.

He runs over to her aid.

"Darlin', what happened?" He asked her.

Sandy just looks at him as Danny helps her stand up.

"I tripped over my shoe." She lied.

Danny saw her red cheek.

"Who slapped you?" Danny asked sternly.

"N-nobody, I tripped and fell on my face." She lied.

Danny was unsure if he believed her, granted this was Sandy. She has never lied about anything.

"Ok." Danny said as he held her cheek. "But if you need to tell me something. I'll be here for ya."

Sandy smiled a little and kissed his cheek, before hugging him.

"I love you, Danny." She tells him.

"I love you too, darling." Danny said as he held her tightly.

He had to know what was going on with her and what was making her so jumpy and frightened. She may have been a shy and vulnerable girl, but this was not like her to act like this.
