Meeting Friends

Waking up, Camilla looked at the clock that read, 7:30am.

Rubbing a hand over her face, she swings her legs over the bed—a look to the side. Her dream feeling so familiar about Sin staying with her while she slept.

That touch and his presence still lingering.

Camilla shakes it off, she gets up to go down the hall to the bathroom.

The door being closed made her stop.

Knowing that Sin was inside she refrained from knocking. Waiting wasn't a problem and she wanted to eat first anyway.

Walking down the floating like staircase.

Camilla looked at the sun beaming in from the perfect view of New York.

Humming to herself, she goes to the kitchen but slows her steps. The hums coming to an automatic stop.

Sitting at the island with a Starbucks coffee in his hand.

Styled and combed over hair with shaved down facial hair and beard. Wearing a black turtleneck and blazer with suit pants, dress shoes and a silver watch on his wrist.

Tapping his fingers on the marble, stealth hazel green eyes focused on the papers he flipped through.

The shuffle made those cold eyes flicker up, a blink as her presence made him pause.

"Umm, I'm sorry." Camilla looks back to the stairs. "I didn't know Sin had company. H-How did you get in here?"

A lighthearted scoff from him as he put the papers face down.

"I'm one of the only few who would." He sips his drink. "I am trying to figure out why you're here."

Camilla head snaps back to him. "What?"
