"WE'RE ONLY HUMAN. WE'RE ALWAYS LEFT WANTING MORE, BUT TOO MUCH WILL OVERFILL YOUR CUP."

───

Watching the freak quick get stopped was only more evidence that nothing had changed. It was never a hundred percent move that would always get through, and Y/N knew that. It doesn't help that Nekoma was the opposing team in this match-up.

"He's good." Y/N hissed, leaning forwards as she set her elbow on her thigh and rest her cheek in her hand. "Good reaction time, height, speed..." Too bad he lacks actual knowledge.

She viewed the court as Kageyama spoke to Hinata and Kenma to Lev. Kenma was smart, but lacked the athletic prowess that Lev had. Somehow it was a perfect balance between the second and first year. Only 5 total points in the game and she was already ticked off.

"Let's calm down there, Legacy." Ukai warned with a grin. "Can't think straight with a clouded mind."

"When'd you get all wise? Guess old age is getting to you, Ukai-san." She snickered before calling a time out since the team was already getting worked up. Ukai ended up grumbling something along the lines of "I'm only 26..."

Middle blockers are always the annoying ones to deal with. Not just as a hitter. Everyone gets a little more agitated every time a hit gets shut down. The setter has to watch where they set, the defensive specialists have to try and pick it up in hopes it wasn't all lost hope.

"He's annoying, I know." Y/N spat out with her arms crossed. "So lets have Asahi-san and Tanaka-san attacking more for now. Just until I know what to do with your freak quick." She glanced at Nekoma, 'Cool as ever. Tch, your team really is a pain in the ass, grandpa.' She sighed, listening to the whistle blow.

"Cover! Cover!"

"Left!"

"It's up! Good job, Kageyama!"

"Nice cover!"

"All right, get the last ball!"

Y/N's brows knit together, the ball ended up on the shorter side but it shouldn't be a huge deal if Asahi was gonna end up hitting it. But as he was already mid-air, a blur of orange had also gone up with him at the same time.

"Hey!" She shouted, pushing her chair as she got up out the the seat. The next sound was a body hitting the floor followed by a blanket of silence. Asahi cowered down in fear that he injured his underclassmen.

"I-I'm sorry!!" He cried out. "I wasn't paying attention to my surroundings!" Hinata, on his knees, apologizing like crazy to Asahi was a sight to behold. She didn't know who was worried more, Asahi, or Hinata. In all honesty, thanks to Asahi's build he seemed fine.
