The door to Kaito's home opens revealing an angry Selena.
Selena: WHERE THE HELL WERE YOU!!??
Kaito: (Disappointed Tone) Oh, you're here. I really thought you'd run off on me.
Selena: Don't dodge the question! Where were you!?
Kaito: At Leo, had a duel with Declan. That's about it really.
Selena: Let me guess you lost.
Kaito: Nope, I won of course. Now, I've got something to do in my room, so don't bother me.
Kaito moves Selena aside and goes into his room.
Selena: Wha- Hey! What're you doing in there!? I thought that was where I was sleeping!?
*Click*
Selena tries to open the door, but the handle appeared to be locked.
Selena: What the- Grr . . . Fine! But I'm sleeping on the couch tonight! HAH!
Kaito: Do what you want, I'm busy.
Selena: Mmm . . . I won, but why do I feel like I lost? Oh, well. I have the couch tonight!
Selena walks off and jumps onto the couch, while in Kaito's room, Kaito is on his desk computer searching up cards.
Ash Blossom: What are you doing?
Kaito: I'm preparing countermeasures against the Fusion Dimension. Declan said they're coming soon, so I should prepare my deck for tomorrow.
Ash Blossom: Wait! Does that mean you're removing me!?
Kaito: No, don't worry, you're way too good to get rid of.
Ash Blossom: YAY!
Kaito: But I will have to cut some other cards.
Ash Blossom: Well, as long as it's not me it's fine.
Kaito: Heh.
???: *RRROOOOAAAARRRR!!!! *
Ash Blossom: EEEK!
Kaito: It seems he wants to join as well. Alright, I guess I'll add him too.

(The Next Day)
Nico: Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome to the third round of the ARC League Championship! Here are your sixteen-remaining duelist!
In the middle of the stadium were fifteen duelists including Yuya, Zuzu, and Gong.
Zuzu: I think he means fifteen.
Yuya: Yeah, Shay's nowhere to be found.
Yuya looks at the other duelists and notices three guys in medieval armor.
Nico: Now! Before we get started, for the first time ever! We're going to have a special guest joining this round!
The crowd starts murmuring to themselves wondering about what Nico's talking about.
Zuzu: A special guest?
Yuya: Who could it be?
Nico: Okay everybody! Let's give a warm welcome to Kaito Kadoya!
