Currently, Kaito was sitting with Declan in his personal seats watching the duels for the Junior division. Currently Grizlepike was dueling Gong Strong in an action duel.

Kaito: Are you sure it's okay I watch the duels here?

Declan: Of course, after all you are my guest here in the tournament, I also want you to see one of the upcoming duels.

Kaito: Really? Which one?

Declan: The duel between Shay Obsidian and Sora Perse.

Kaito: Those two? Why?

Declan: You'll see.

Kaito: (Great, he's still keeping me in the dark.)

As time passes Gong wins his duel by using a tuner monster's effect to synchro summon, using his Grizlepike's monster. Gong attacks with a 4000 DEF point monster and defeats Grizlepike within 4 turns.

Kaito: Impressive, using your opponent's monster for a synchro summon is quite the play, and since his monster was able to attack in DEF mode, even if his opponent is able to survive it's unlikely, he can deal damage.

Declan: Yes, it's quite an advanced technique, I heard that he actually learned it from one of the students at LID.

Kaito: Oh yeah, who?

Declan: Kit Blade.

Kaito: Who?

Now it's time for Yuya's duel against Sylvio Sawatari. Yuya had a good start, however, not only does Sylvio play a combo that interrupts Yuya's pendulum summons, but Sylvio himself is also able to Pendulum summon using Yosenju Shinchu L and Yosenju Shinchu R.

Kaito: Oh, that's a pretty smart play. His "Yosenju"always go back to the hand when they're summoned, however when they do thanks to that Yosen Whirlwind spell, Yuya's cards go back to the hand as well and paired with Dizzying Winds of Yosen Village, those cards will go back to the deck meaning Yuya won't be able to pendulum summon them back to the field.

Declan: Yes, this too is an advanced combo, however with the right draw it can easily be beaten.

Declan: (It seems that the pendulum cards developed, are having no issues at all which means I'm able to continue with the next phase.)

Yuya on the ropes, still stays positive and keeps dueling, being able to stall his opponent and until he is able to draw the exact card he needs. After dodging an almost devastating attack with action cards he was able to find around the action field he takes the stage and has a spotlight placed down on him.

Yuya: Ladies, Gentlemen, duelist of all ages! As you can see there are no cards on my field and no cards left in my hand either, that means everything riding on this very next draw. And if that's not dueltainment, well then, I guess I don't know what is.

The crowd tenses up and watches as the suspense as Yuya proceeds to draw his card.

Yuya: DRRAAAAAWWWW!!!!!

Yuya takes a look at the card and thanks to his "protagonist status" he draws the exact card he needs.

Yuya: Alright. Time to give this crowd a finale they'll never forget!
