Chapter 4 : Fingered

Powder yawned, stretching her arms up looking over, a frown creeped across her face not seeing Ekko laying next to her, sitting up she looked around the room seeing her window open and all of Ekko's gear missing. Getting out of bed Powder walked down the hallways of the mansion walking into the kitchen, opening the fridge she grabbed some random breakfast food walking over to the table and sitting down.

While eating she could only think of Ekko and what happened at the bridge last night. Why was Vi so worried and how did a hole the size of a building just appear. Something was fishy but she couldn't put her finger on it. Getting up from her table she walked into the main room which had the Kirraman portrait hanging in the middle of the room. Powder scoffed looking up at it as she sat down on one of the couches.

As Powder sat down she began playing with her braids like spinning them around and wrapping them around her neck. Just then Powder heard talking coming from on top of the stairs, as Vi and Caitlyn walked down the stairs they looked over at Powder with a sigh of relief going across their faces. Vi ran up to Powder hugging her tight before checking for any injuries. "What the hell is going on?" Powder said, looking at the two still spinning her braids.

Vi gulped, "Silco attacked Piltover last night." Powder's eyes shot open, "So that hole was from Silco?" Vi looked confused, "Did you leave last night?" Powder shrugged, "Maybe." Vi placed her hands on her face groaning, "You could've gotten hurt." Powder laughed at Vi, "There were Enforcers everywhere including Firelights, I would've been fine. And look, I'm sitting right in front of you."

"Firelights?" Vi said sitting down next to Powder, "Yes, there was a Firelight." Powder rolled her eyes, "Only one?" Powder looked up at the painting once more, "Well, I only slept with one so, I'd assume that's how many." Vi gasped, Caitlyn's face turned to shock, "What?" Vi said barely able to make words. "Chill out, we didn't do anything. And even if we did, you can't talk about the matter." Vi placed her hand on her face, looking back up at Powder who laughed at her, "Who was it?" She said in an angrily tone.

"Why should I tell you, you seem angry." She said in a mocking tone, Vi sighed, "I don't even know who these Firelights are. Now who was here last night?" Powder rolled her eyes, "Well for starters the Firelights are the people Silco fought, they kept blowing up his drugs." Caitlyn gasped, "Marcus was telling the truth." Powder turned staring Caitlyn in the eyes, "Marcus? What's that old fool doing, still being paid by Silco?" Caitlyn shook her head.

"He's in Stillwater." Powder laughed, smacking her knee trying to hold it back. "Rest in Pieces." She said in a joking manner. "Now back to what we were walking about." Vi said with a stern voice. Powder looked at her with a joking annoyed look, "Ok, so the person is the Firelight leader." Vi sighed, "I don't know who that is." Powder crossed her arms, "And it should stay that way." Vi shook her head.

"No Powder, right now." He pointed down at the couch, "Fine, fine. It was Little Man." She said in a jumpy voice. Vi gasped, her eyes wide open. Her jaw falling down, "She's gonna be there for a while." Powder said, looking at Caitlyn pointing to Vi with her thumb. "Ekko?" Powder looked back at her with a smile, "Yes, now please stay out of my love life and I'll stay out of yours," Powder said moving her head towards Caitlyn before jumping off the couch and running up the stairs into a hallway, Her braids flying behind her.

"Oh my god" Vi said watching as Powder ran up the stairs. Caitlyn looked over at Vi confused, "Who is Little Man?" Vi sighed looking over at Caitlyn, "Powder's old best friend when they were kids," Caitlyn smiled, "So now he's a Firelight leader who has fought almost to the death with her and now loves her?" Vi shrugged, "Well, it's a crazy world." Caitlyn shrugged with a sigh, "This is going to be interesting."

Ekko walked around the green lush Firelights sanctuary watching as children played with each other. He feels a hand touch his shoulder, turning around he's met with Scar, "So where were you last night?" Scar said, walking around Ekko facing him. Ekko let out a chuckle, "If I told you, you'd kill me." Scar raised his eyebrow crossing his arms, "I can take it." Ekko rolled his eyes walking away signaling Scar with his hand. Walking into a private room Ekko laid up against the wall, "Alright, tell me."

Ekko sighed, "I was at a girls house." Scar smiled, hitting Ekko in the chest with the back of his hand, "Nice!" Looking back at Ekko who was looking down at the ground his excitement turned to worry. "Who was this girl?" Ekko closed his eyes looking up at Scar, "Well it's complicated." Scar nodded for EKko to go on. "So I had this friend when I was younger, her name was Powder." "She was taken after all of her family had died, I was too scared to help her, and that girl turned into."

Ekko paused choking on his words. "Jinx..." Scar gasped, his eyes opening wide. "But she's not Jinx anymore." Ekko pushed himself off the wall walking in front of Scar. "It's not Jinx." Scar looked with a suspicious look. "Are you sure, we've both seen what she's done to our friends." Ekko sighed looking down. "I-I know, it's been hard for me to look past it. But she's not that monster." Scar placed his hand on his face, sighing, "No one can know, they won't understand." Ekko nodded.

"I know, that's why I brought you in here." Ekko looked around the room, it was dark with only one light, a metal table stood in the middle of it. "Don't bring her here, it'll cause too many problems." Ekko nodded, "Thanks for understanding." Scar sighed, "You're lucky you're my friend." Ekko smiled looking up at him, placing his hand on Scars shoulder he tapped it before turning to the exit. Opening the door the light of the sun blinded both of them as they walked out back into the green sanctuary.

Powder stepped out of her room, in her usual attire she walked down the long hallway of the Kirraman Estate. "Where even are her parents?" Powder asked herself walking around the large house entering every room just to leave walking into the next. "Well, they're so rich." Skipping around the halls Powder felt like she was rich spinning in the hallways, her little skirt flew with her, feeling like she was a ballerina. "What are you doing?"

Powder stopped with a surprised face as it turned bright red. Vi stood at the end of the hallway she was in leaning against the wall. "Um, nothing." Powder bit back, "Alright then." Vi said, pushing herself off the wall. Waking up to Powder, "You got plans to visit your boyfriend." Vi smirked standing in front of Powder. She looked up at her sister with a displeased look, "Got plans to finger your girlfriend?"

Powder stepped around leaving Vi in shock looking around with her jaw dropping. Powder smirked walking down the hallway, Caitlyn walked from around the corner laughing at Vi. She looked back at Caitlyn, her face filled with embarrassment before turning to a smug look. "Don't make me do it." She said walking up to Caitlyn winking. Caitlyn's face turned bright red as Vi walked past her.
