"T-minus one minute until we begin. And now, a word of well-appreciated encouragement from Ms. Iori Utahime." Gojo's voice echoed throughout the speakers located all over within the fighting area where the event was taking place. The team of Tokyo students gathered together in the forest, awaiting for the start while Gojo as well as the Kyoto teacher, Utahime made announcements.
"Huh?! U-Uh...Um, some degree of injury will be unavoidable, but um... let's help each other out... whenever we can... or something.."
"Time's up."
"Hey! Gojo, you little-"
"Begin!"
With Gojo's loud voice signaling the beginning of the event, both groups of Kyoto and Tokyo sprinted across the paths ahead of them. The sound of Utahime's voice shrieking at the childish teacher echoing loudly as the students dashed forward. "Respect your seniors!"
"Ichiro reference?!" Yuji wondered as he looked over to Megumi as they all kept running deeper into the myriads of trees every which way.
"Where do you think the boss curse is?"
"Logically, the location of the curse should be in an area that would be considered fair for both teams." You replied noticing the subtle way that Panda nodded in agreement to confirm your statement. "It was probably released somewhere in the center. I doubt it'll sit still though."
"At the designated time, we'll split into Panda and Megumi squads for scouting. The rest is up to you, Y/n-chan, Yuuji." Maki informed making the pink haired teen glance at her making a salute gesture with his hand. "Got it!" You just nodded and smirked.
As the Tokyo students traveled even further into the deep, dense forest with Megumi's black demon dog leading the way, they soon encountered the first cursed spirit of the exchange event.
"Where are you going?"
This spider-like curse was without a doubt, a weak one. Its pale legs flailed around while its body dangled down from what appeared to be a web as all its haunting yellow eyes glared at the incoming sorcerers as they drew closer and closer.
"That's a small fry." Panda commented while Maki twirled her cursed tool preparing to attack the low-grade curse. A sharp growl from Megumi's demon dog ahead alerted the Tokyo students that something was near, or rather. someone.
"Senpai, stop!" You heard Megumi shout out a warning to Maki, right as the black haired teen's warning was heard by the second-year, logs and debris blew around in front of the Tokyo team, taking out the low grade curse as a guttural battle cry erupted from within the humongous, buff teen.
Todo looked over at the group grinning wide. "Great! The gang's all here! Come at me all at once! Even you Y/n-chan!"
You smirked as your eyes glowed blue "as you wish."
