"Why's everyone empty-handed?!" You sweatdropped when you saw Nobara carrying a suitcase behind her, already starting to put the pieces together. You vividly remember telling her not to pack for this event. However, little did you know that while you were talking, she was planning out your first overnight trip in her mind like the dutiful girlfriend she was!
"Rather, why do you have luggage?" Panda asked. He was present for the conversation featuring you explicitly informing Nobara not to do this exact thing, but he lived for the drama of it all.
"Why..? Aren't we going to Kyoto? The sister school reunion at Kyoto..." Nobara mumbled.
Now that she was face to face with the situation, she actually did recall a conversation with you that involved luggage and Kyoto and, most of all, don't. Huh. Funny how that works.
"The sister school reunion with Kyoto. At Tokyo." Panda corrected. Isn't it curious how a single preposition can affect a person's entire day?
"NO WAYYYYYYYY!" She flipped her shit.
"Figures that conversations haven't been matching lately." Maki said. However, Maki did wish that Nobara had at least tried to listen to your endearing informational speech regarding the event, but beggars can't be choosers, she supposes.
"Right." Megumi nodded. He remembered your speech quite well and, even though he already knew it all thanks to his connection with a certain Gojo Satoru, he still gave Best Person all his attention.
"We do it at the school that won the previous year." Panda explained.
"Don't go fucking winning! Moron!" Nobara snapped, practically raging like a bull.
"I didn't even enter last year." Panda pouted. You patted his back comfortingly, making sure to stifle your snickers at Nobara's extreme reaction.
"Last year, Yuta joined to match numbers." Panda explained.
"It was before Rika was dispelled. Seems it was a complete victory. It was at Kyoto, so I didn't see it, though." Maki added.
"Unforgivable, Okkotsu Yuta!! Never met you, though!" Nobara screamed to the heavens. She dropped to her hands and knees, cursing the very world she had sworn to protect.
"You're gonna get your knees dirty." Panda stared blankly.
"Hey." Maki said, causing you to turn around.
"They're here." It had been so long since you had seen most of these guys... well except for Aoi and Mai as you had just seen them when they came to your school to bully your juniors.
"Oh, a reception? Gross." Mai scoffed. When Mai's eyes finally landed upon you, she smirked before winking at you. You just smirked back.
"Okkotsu isn't even here. If Y/n-chan weren't here, I would be bored out of my mind."
