The Date

You and Diluc had woken up that morning cuddled on your bed since you had passed out earlier that day and he insisted on keeping you company during the night.

So far you had had a good day. While Diluc was out you had played some highly competitive chess with Adelaide on her break.

You'd gone out for a short horse ride with Elzer wanting to heighten your riding skills before the escape but ended up listening to his cute stories about how he loved horses when he was little.

You'd even made friends with some of the winery's furry guards. They were hounds that Adelaide said didn't like many people unless Diluc liked them, so her and Elzer made up most of the dogs' friends.

Diluc returned at 5:00ish and you were greeted with a kiss on the cheek when he came up to your room.

You were sitting at your desk by the window sketching the scenery.

Really you were looking at the clouds trying to look for grey ones.

"Darling, would you like to go on a date this afternoon?" He asked.

You only just realised that he'd never properly asked you out he'd just implied it until it was official so this date must be his way of confirming it.

"That sounds great Luc" you replied. He smiled genuinely but you weren't sure if it was about you calling him 'Luc' or you saying yes to the date.

Don't get it twisted, Diluc did want to go on a date with you but this wasn't the main goal of the date, it was just the very appreciated side affect.

His real plan was to get rid of Kazuha and spoil you in the process.

When the night drew in you rushed up to your wardrobe and threw on something smart that outlined your figure perfectly.

Diluc was taking you to an exclusive restaurant in Mond that was rumoured to be one of the finest restaurants in all of teyvat.

Apparently they had a list of people that were allowed in there and those people were only allowed to bring 3 other people who weren't on that list inside.

There was knocking at your door.

"Come in" you said. The door creaked open and Diluc slipped in.

He was wearing his gorgeous white suit from the manga with his hair still tied low but he looked a lot more like the Diluc you knew rather than the hostile and cold person he showed most others.

"Shall we?" He said holding his hand out for you to take.

It was light outside when you cluttered to Mond in the cart.

Diluc was sitting next to you and you were both admiring the lamp grasses and you soon were dropped off by the bridge.

You strolled across the bridge hand in hand scaring away the pigeons much to the annoyance off Timmie who surprisingly didn't say anything.

'I guess he must of been there when Diluc tore down that camp after the stormterror incident since it was not far from the bridge I can see why he might not be keen on annoying Diluc'

"Um (Y/N) we're a bit early for our reservation and i have to check something at the tavern. I'll give you some mora if you're okay with going shopping while I get this sorted." He asked. You replied with an understanding nod wanting to appease him and you both parted ways for now...... or so you thought.
