Chapter 8:

(Warning: errors ahead!!)

Nene's Pov:

       It was the next day, and Hana had woken up around 8:30 fussing. I groaned sitting up straight off the bed.
Hana had woken up multiple times that night, because of the nap she took during the party.

To make matters worse, since Hana got no sleep she would be extreammly cranky, and fussy.
I looked over at Amane who had also sat up rubbing his eyes.

"I can come with you to the baby's room. I will get her ready for the day." he said standing up and stretching as I yawned nodding.
We both walked out of our room and to Hana 's room, witch was right nextdoor.

"Shah, its alright Hana..c'mon daddy is getting our clothes, ill feed you. " I said walking over to the chair that we had next to her crib.
I sat dons and nursed her, she took it, but was still fussing afterwards.
"Maybe you need to be changed? But I just changed you an hour ago?" I said bringing her to the changing table, checking her diaper.

"No...then what's wrong Hana?" I asked, my face a bit worried.  She started to fuss louder and it eventually turned into a cry. We knew she would be fussy, but not this bad.
I picked her up in my arms rocking her back and fourth, but she still started to cry.

I looked down at her and then over at Amane, still rocking and bouncing my arms trying to calm her down.
Amane looked over confused
"Here let me try.." he said reaching his arms out, as I nodded gentallly placing her in his arms.
He rocked her a bit, but she still cried. Her crys sounded like they were cries of pain..

"What's wrong with her.? Is she in pain?!" I asked taking her back from Amane, placing her on the changing table stripping her, to check her for any signs of pain.

There seemed to be nothing wrong with her
"Maybe she isn't feeling well?" amane asked as I carefully redressed her.
"Maybe...we can ask to doctors today at the appointment. But I need her to calm down first....can you hand me a pacifier?" I asked as I took her in my arms, looking over at amane.

He nodded and tossed me a pink pacifier.
I sat on the carpet, Smith Hana still crying in my arms. I put it infront of her mouth, wiggling a bit, so she could feel it.
She took it, and it calmed her down a bit, but she was still fussing, and slightly crying.
I held her close to me, rocking her back and forth, attempting to put her back to sleep.

We were all in the car, driving to the doctors. I was in the back with Hana, still not wanting her to stay in the back by herself for now. Ot has bend about an hour and a half since she first woke up, and she finally stopped crying, but was still fussing.

I was sitting next to her, stroking her head slightly, as she was fussing, moving a bit.
She clenched onto my finger, witch calmed her a bit. I was serried the wholes rids there, not taking my eyes off of her.

"Don't worry my love..in sure there is nothing wrong.." amane said to me, as we were sitting in the doctors office, waiting for the doctor to come back into the room.

I was holding Hana in my arms as she cried in pain.
I was starting to tear up not liking the sound of her crying.

Amane looked at my face
"Hey hey its alright! Don't cry love..this is a normal for new babies.." amane said wiping my tears, comforting me.

Soon the doctor came in
"Oh, dear. You were right about her being fussy.." the doctor said setting her things down on the table type thing.
I nodded "we were thinking it was because of the amount of sleep she got last night, but after I fed her, she started to cry, and we haunt gotten her to stop since. We have only managed to calm her a little.." I explained, as amane rubbed my back.

The doctor nodded.
"Well she may be getting a cold or, may just have an ear infection.
Those usually keep babies awake, because of the pressure. Do you mind if I look?"

I shook my head "no..go ahead." I said, handing her the baby, as she set her down on the bed/table. Amane was right next to her, so he put his ha d next to her, and she grabbed his finger.

The doctor unzipped her onsie and took a look at her body, and then looking into her ears. Sane carefully did it, but Hana let go of amane finger and put it up to her ear, crying out louder.

"Well, what I said is true, she dose have an ear infection, she will have a tiny fever for the first few days. But don't worry. They are compleatlly common in babies and young children. " she explained, zipping us her onsie, handing her over to amane, who took her in his arms, as she caned down a bit, clutching onto his shirt.

"We will give you some ear drops, use it when she first wakes up, around 4 to 5 hours after, and then one last time before you go to sleep. Do it for about a week or so, and it should start to clear up. Ask for them at the front desk, and they will give them to you!" she explained.

We nodded
"Alright..but do you know how to calm her down, so she can stop fussing and crying?" I asked

"Well, you can try rubbing her head, giving her a pacifier, and anything that usually helps calm her Down. "

We nodded once more, as amane reached for the bag getting a pacifier, and her bunny, and that seemed to calm her down a bit.

"Well, is there any other concerns or questions you have, with either you or the baby?" she asked .

"No..not really!" I answered.

She smiled "alrighty then. You guys are welcome to wait in here for around 10 or so mi its, so I'm able to explain and get Hanako's ear drops ready, and then you can go get it!" she answered smiling, before leaving.

I looked over to amane and the now calm, still slightly crying Hana.  "Well..I guess she is gonna be ok.. " I said smiling softly, bending down to kiss her forehead, witch was slightly warm, from the fever. She was slightly shivering tho, so I grabbed her a small blanket, slightly putting it over her.

Amane looked up at me, as he was setting Hana is her carseat. She had finally fallen asleep , so we decided to put her in there now.
"Hey..you ok?" amane asked me, after he finessed buckling Hana up.

I nodded my head
"I guess I'm just over reacting is all!!" I said giggling as I sniffled.
"My love, you didnt over react. Your a brand new mom, with a 7 day old infant. You havnt even fully healed from having the baby, and your lack on sleep. So don't say you over reacted. Your going thought a lot right now!" he said taking my hands in his.

I smiled softly.
"Thank you my star..how did I get so lucky to have you?" I said laughing a bit, wiping my eyes.
He smiled "well I guess we were both lucky. Cause I ended up with an amazing wife." he said before giving me a kiss. I smiled before pulling back.

"C'mon, we gotta go get Hana 's drops, and then I wanna go home. I'm exhausted.." I said picking up the carseat, as amane grabbed the diaper bag nodding.

We got to the front desk, signed out and grabbed the eardrops, before going to the car and going home, where we set Hana in her crib, and spent the next few hours hanging out with one another, sunggiling and watching movies.
