Chapter 20:

(Warning errors ahead!!!)

Nene's Pov:

We let Hana take the next few days of school off, and us from work for obvious reasons.

Hana has been a lot more quite lately.

And today I was sitting on the bed, scrolling through my phone, while amane was at the store, and hana was still sleeping.

Soon I heard a scream and then crying. I jolted up and soon saw hana running into my bedroom crying, clearly scared.
"Sweetie, whats wrong!!!??" I asked taking her into my arms, as she hugged me tight.

"A n-nightmare.." she answered sniffling
I pulled the crying girl up into my lap, holding her close.
"Its ok.." I whispered trying to calm her.
Eventually she stopped crying and fell back asleep. It was around 11:30 in the morning.

I smiled at my daughter moving so I was laying down with her in my arms, and soon I fell asleep.

Amane's Pov:

I had just gotten home from the store. While I was there I bought some stuff we were running low on, and some breakfast. I got us some different stuff for breakfast, including some muffins, different flavored donuts, and some bread for toast. I also got some juice and laundry detergent cause we needed some.

When I got inside with the grocerys, I was expecting to see nene and hana down in the living room, but they went there.

"Munchkin, love!!! Im home!" I yelled setting everything down.

"Where are they..?" I whispered to myself walking up the stairs.
I walked into our bedroom, And I smiled looking at the two sleeping softly.

I went over to the two, moving hana's hair of her tear stand cheek. I then looked over to nene and slightly blushed. I went down and kissed right next to her lips.

She moved a bit, and soon opened her eyes.
"Amane..?" she said sitting up, setting hana down on a pillow.
She yawned rubbing her eyes, soon looking over to me.

I laughed a bit.
"Goodmorning love!~" I said carefully sitting next to her.
She giggled
"Goodmorning! " she answered in a hush tone, trying to stay quite.
I smiled and leaned in to kiss her lightly, at witch she smiled at, kissing back before pulling away.

Hana soon stirred and nene quickly pulled me off the bed, and had us tiptoe out and down to the living room.

Once we got down the stairs, nene almost looked upset.
"What's wrong my love..?" I asked giving her a pout.
"Hana had a nightmare...but its weird. She never really gets them, and when she dose there usually not bad." she said looking up at me.
I gave a confused but worried look, as I pulled her in for a hug.

She stuffed her face in my shoulder, and I set My head on the crown of hers.
I rubbed circles on her back, soothing her as she giggled.
"We can ask her about it when she wakes up.'' I said as we parted.
She nodded, and we went into the kitchen.

Around a half hour later, we heard soft footsteps coming down the stairs, and soon hana came into the kitchen, clutching her blanket and bunny.

"Hi munchkin! How did you sleep?" I asked looking over to her.
She gave a scared look, and ran over to nene.
Nene hugged her, giving me a confused look, as I did the same.

Nene's Pov:

"Sweetie, whats wrong? " I asked as hana looked up at me, with her pink golden eyes, tucking a piece of her hair behind her ear.
Hana didn't answer and hugged me tighter.
I pulled her up into my lap as she hugged me tighter.

"Daddy got some plain donuts!!! " I said lifting her face up trying to cheer her up.
"R-really!?" she finally said something, looking up at me once more.
I nodded giving her a soft smile
"Yea! There on the counter! Do you want one?" I asked sitting up with her in my arms.

She nodded and I smiled walking over to the counter grabbing her one. She took it and nibbled it.
I smiled setting her down, as she walked over to her seat.
I went over to amane, reaching over him, to open the fridge and get the juice. But her pulled me in by my waist, and kissed me.

I blushed red, as he let go, our lips making a popping noise. I pulled the juice out, closing the fridge, as amane laughed, pulling away.
I poured hana some juice, and handed it to her. She took it and slowly sipped it.

Amane walked over to her, and kissed her forehead, smiling.
Hana flinched and had a scared look on her face.
I gave a worried look, and amane did aswell with a bit of hurt.

Amane backed up a bit, and hana was shaking a bit, as tears slowly started to form in her eyes, and fall. Down her cheeks, trembling in fear.

"M-mama..." she said and I heard the scared tone and I ran over to her.
I looked up at amane who looked hurt, and I frowned, confused and upset.
"Hana...what's the matter..?" I asked kneeling infront of her.

She was still trembling clinging onto her bunny, tears leaving a wet stain on her blanket.
I wiped her eyes, but it was no use, as tears kept falling out.
My heart broke looking at her and amane at the same time.

I picked her up in my arms, and walked out into the living room with her, signaling for amane to follow, witch he did, but stayed back.

I sat down hana onto the couch, and back up sitting next to her but giving her some space.
"Hana..I know your upset but I need to know what's wrong..or i can't help you.." I explained.

Amane was looking down and hana was curled up on the couch.
"I-it h-happend I-in m-my d-dream.." she tried explaining, but stuttered .

"What did sweetie?" I asked giving a sympathetic look.
"D-daddy h-he *hic* k-k-killed u-uncle tsu..an-and *hic* t-then h-he h-hurt h-himself!! B-badly..*hic* an-and b-before t-that u-uncle tsu. W-was j-just b-beating him!!" she said explain her nightmare.

I gave widdend eyes, and quickly turned my head to amane, who had the same expression.
I turned my head back slowly towards the trembling girl.
"Hana..was this the nightmare you had earlier..?" I asked her.
She nodded her head.

I gave a worried look.
"Hana...can you wait here for just a few minutes?" I asked hugging her a bit.
Sheen nodded into my chest hiccuping.
I kissed her forehead quick, before sitting up slowly and walking over to Amane, grabbing his hand softly, and leading him into the kitchen.

Once we got in there, I closed the island window thing, so hana wpuldnt be able to hear or see us.
I walked closer to him, and hugged him tight.
He hugged me back, and I looked up at his pain filled eyes.

"Hey...maybe this is idea affects to everything that has happened to hana in the past week or so..."
He eyed me a bit, still hugging me close, switch seemed to loosen him up a bit.

"It just...it hurts to know that my daughter had seen that. It hurts to know that she had the dream, and she is now scared of her own father and uncle. It hurts to know, that she is confused, and dosnt know if this nightmare will repeat or she will get new and worse ones!" he said teary eyed.

I didn't know what to say but I just hugged him tighter, and he just cried.
