Your P.O.V.

Yujin and Leeseo accompanied me the whole day. I was thankful enough that they came to check up on me, so I just told them I'd be fine sleeping on my own.

Just like the other night, it wasn't easy to get some sleep. I tossed and turned in my bed and hoped that I would end up feeling tired of thinking and moving. But it was of no use.

Like the usual, and I meant the usual when Wonyoung's not around, I just stayed inside the house and binged some movies and shows all day. It was better because it was raining hard outside, so I was in a big mood of just eating some comfort foods and staying in bed.

Yujin
How are you doing? You want us to check on you today?

Nah, it's pouring hard outside. I'm fine.

After that, I didn't receive any more texts from them. So I just continued what I was doing.

I didn't intend to, but I always kept staring at the picture frame in my dresser. It made me remember some of the memories that we made and all of the things we used to do during rainy days.

She didn't like this kind of weather, so we'd always stay inside whether here in my place or at hers. We would always do something, specifically what I'm doing right now. So I really can't help but remember her.

Whenever I checked my phone, I'd see that there were still news articles spread on social media about her taking a break from her career. People love her and her works. So it made me feel more guilty than I already was.

Leeseo
You're probably in bed crying about her.

Nope. Take another guess.

We'll go there and check for ourselves.

You don't need to. I don't want you guys to get sick.

My friends kept on texting that they wanted to go here, and I really can't blame them. But leaving me here like a crybaby is better than leaving their homes and getting sick from the rain.

Just like Yujin, Leeseo didn't bother to reply anymore so I just assumed that they'd stop insisting on coming here. But in half an hour, I heard a loud knock on the front door.

I groaned as I removed the blanket off of me, feeling a little disappointed that I have to leave a comfortable position just to answer the door.

"You guys, I told you not to--"

I immediately shut my mouth when I saw Wonyoung, standing here in front of me with her clothes dripping wet.

"W-wonyoung..."

Her eyes had dark circles underneath. Maybe it was just the rain, but she looked different. Not in a good way.

"Come back to me." her voice was raspy.

It was just four words, but it was enough to tug my heartstrings like a guitar pick. It was all too sudden, my feelings were overwhelming and mixed that I didn't know what to say. Until we heard a thunder and she literally flinched.

"Uhm, we should take you inside first. I'll get you a towel." I gestured for her to go in, which she did while I went and grabbed something.

I quickly went to my room and panicked. Never did I expect Wonyoung to come see me. Not after only a few days, and definitely not in this weather(which she hates).

After grabbing a towel from my cabinet, I breathed deeply and composed myself. I thought of what to say or what to do, until I remembered that she was dripping wet so I hurried and went to her.

"Dry yourself." I handed her the towel.

She muttered a small 'thanks' before wiping herself and drying her hair. I turned on the lights since we were in the living room and it was dark due to the rain.

Now that I saw her more clearly, she definitely did not look fine.

"I should lend you some clothes first." I suggested, averting her gaze over to me.

Oh God, her eyes..

"I mean, I might still have some of your clothes that you've lent me before." I cleared my throat.

"No need. You can keep them." she blankly replied.

"You're soaking wet, Wonyoung. You should change out of those--"

"I'm here for one thing only." she cut me off.

I gulped and felt my heartbeat grow faster and faster. Her expression didn't tell me that she was scared at all, or even nervous. Meanwhile here I was, feeling all kinds of emotions there is known to mankind.

"Do not dare lie to me again. I know you." she gritted.

I sighed and simply nodded my head.

"Do you still love me?" she asked.

She may have kept her expression still, but her wavering voice told me everything.

"Why do you--"

"I asked you one question and there's only one true answer. Tell me honestly." she sternly said.

"I never stopped loving you, Wonyoung." I answered.

She pursed her lips and looked away from me. I can already tell that she was about to cry, so I clenched my fists and resisted the urge to comfort her. I didn't have any right.

"How can you say that after breaking up with me?" a tear fell down her cheek.

"You wanted me to be honest--"

"Then why haven't you been honest with yourself this whole time? Why did you have to choose money over what you wanted?!" she cried.

"I wanted the money too! You can't understand that because all your life you've been a perfect girl who had all her parents' money." I let out.

I instantly regretted what I said when she narrowed her eyes at me with a scoff, standing up and throwing the towel down on the couch.

"This isn't about me. This is about how reckless you are in making decisions." she muttered.

"I only chose what's for the best--"

"If it's money that you want, you could've asked me for my help." she stated.

"You know I can't do that." I expressed.

"If you didn't want my help, how come you took the choice with a bigger consequence?" she asked.

I deeply exhaled and massaged my temples. She was making so much sense that I almost wanted to kill myself for being so dumb.

"Come back to me." I looked up at her and saw that all the anger had left her face. All I saw now was sadness and yearning.

"It's too late. I already sealed the deal with them." I replied.

"Then give it back. I can give you all the money I have." she took a step closer.

"What? You can't do that, it's your money!" I reacted.

She shook her head and finally went closer to me, her hands finding its way to mine as she dearly gazed into my eyes.

"I earned it because of you." she claimed.

"What? That was your--"

"Everything I did, it was all inspired by you." she said.

I knew that some of the songs she wrote and the paintings she made were about me. But to suddenly say that everything was because of me, it was like exaggerating things. I didn't want to take credit just because she did those things while she loved me.

My mouth couldn't even mutter a single word. We were both just staring at each other while she held my hands tightly. Like if we would let go, she would lose me forever.

"You're my muse, Y/n."
