Song of this chapter: Lucid Dreams by Juice WRLD
______________
Ginny was holding his hand and pulling him tightly. Harry laughed and heard Ginn's laughter. As soon as they reached the hall, Ginny threw herself into his arms. Harry wrapped his arms tightly around Ginn's waist and shoulders. He buried his face in her red hair.He breathed deeply. After a few more deep breaths, Ginn put her hand on Harry's shoulder. Harry could feel Ginny's perfect little heartbeat. As if it was contagious, he was breathing with the same rhythm. As if it is a part of him, his pulse beats with the same rhythm.
He started dancing slowly with the rhythm in his mind.
His movements were clumsy.
Ginn let out a short laugh. She continued the dance Harry had started. Harry's foot caught on the edge of the chair and staggered from the intensity of their ridiculous games. Ginny grabbed Harry's hand and lifted him up. He just looked at it for a brief moment and unknowingly spun it in Harry's hands. Harry held it. His loud laughter had turned into a lovely smile.
It was a fast, chaotic, uncoordinated dance, without coordination. Despite all this, Ginny was as majestic as a phoenix. With every breath they took, Ginny handed Harry another glass of wine. She turned around and gained all his attention. Their mental song was coming to an end. Ginny moved her hand gently to Harry's cheek. He was smiling crookedly. His smile was contagious.
When Ginn's hand touched Harry's cheek, a hard slap brought him back to real life. Draco's confused gaze was replaced by Ginny's image.
By the time Harry regained consciousness, Draco was worried. Harry was still in the mansion.
"You were dancing with the curtain." Draco said in a tone that turned fear into mockery.
