YOONGI POV
If I were a normal person, I wouldn't have to leave my soulmate to deal with this alone. I felt terrible about it.
:I'll be ok. Stop worrying: Sarah said.
:내가 무슨 생각을 하는지 어떻게 알아?: (How do you know what I'm thinking?) I asked, exasperated.
:I just do: she said. :Let me know when you get where you're going:
:그럴게요 (I will): I smiled.
I made my way to the venue, figuring the guys would be there. I was right.
"Hyung!" Jimin said as I walked up. "I'm so glad you're here."
"Where's Sarah?" Jin asked, looking around.
"She's home with her husband," I said. The silence was deafening.
"She's married?" Joon asked softly, worry in his voice.
"Yes," I said. "We obviously have some things to figure out. Let's just rehearse, ok?" I walked over in search of my mic. Luckily I still had my sunglasses on because I totally forgot about my eyes. Sejin ran over to me.
"Yoongi-ah, I have contacts backstage." He said quietly. I followed him to the dressing area. "So, how was your day off?" He asked. Sejin was a great friend. We were lucky to have him.
"It was great. And it sucked." I said.
"Why?" He asked.
"Sarah is married," I said. Sejin pondered.
"What will you do?"
"That's up to her."
"No, it's not. That is, it's not just up to her."
"I know. We have things to figure out and no time to do so."
"I'm sorry. What can I do?" He asked.
"Just keep doing what you always do. I, WE, don't thank you enough." I said.
"I will." He said with a smile. We got to the dressing room, and I put the contacts on. They were the darkest possible, and my eyes looked light brown at best. I looked in the mirror.
"They will be able to tell," I said. "All the stage photos and tour video is high resolution these days. ARMY will notice. They notice everything."
"What do you want to do?"
"I have to talk to Sarah." I tried our connection. :Sarah?:
:Yoongi? Is everything ok? Where are you?:
:I'm at the venue. I'm trying on contacts, and I'm realizing that is only a matter of time before the fans figure it out.:
:무엇을 하고 싶어요? (what do you want to do?):
