The Immortal is the prequel story to Book 3: The Undeterred of my Iredescent series. However, it is a standalone book. You don't have to read the entire Irangel arc (Books 1-3) to know the characters, since this book doesn't even have Iredescent characters. Instead of taking place on planet Iredescent, this story focuses on my vampire characters on a fairytale medieval planet called Verdamnt.
My two main characters are inspired by the actors Ben Barnes (from Prince Caspian) and Luke Evans (from Dracula Untold).
Ben Barnes looks like Mallen and Luke Evans looks like Iérti. Both movies and actors heavily inspired this book.
Mallen's castle is inspired by Neuschwanstein Castle, my favorite castle in Bavaria, Germany that is my dream to visit.
