Vampire King

Chapter 5

Progress was being made slowly as Dick had managed to take over Titan Tower but there was only a few of the young fellow hero's that weren't there. Conner, Raven and Victor who was at the Justice League headquarters. Dick smirked as he had managed to turn everyone into vampires except Kori though. To which Dick didn't mind much as she had offered herself to him completely. And he suspected that it had to do with her alien race but he didn't know the true reason for her not turning. But sooner realised the effects of drinking Kori's blood to had made him be able to freely wall in daylight and not be burned by Holly objects and Holly water as well.

'Oh what a great find we have here.' Dick though as he let's out a chuckle as he mindlessly walked in the daytime. Unaware of Hal murdering a new member of the Justice League and turning them into a smoothie as well as burning a vampire alive. Dick grinned as he felt as close to human as possible for him enjoying foods he still loved and just living his life and fitting back in to human society. It gave him a little bit of hope to be normal and live with his family again in the day.

Dick sighs as he had closed his eyes and accidentally fallen asleep in his seat in a cafe. He dreams for the first time in a long time but everything that happened seemed so really. The many deaths of his family and friends the chaos that he had caused. And the growing hatred inside people for him but a loving moment of just him and Barbara together. Then it all skipped to a point where Wally was in his arms dying from blood lose.

His eyes immediately shot up and he stood up as the women who own the small cafe squeaked in surprise as she was about to wake him up. "Oh sorry what time is it?" Dick asked the slightly frightened women who merely shows him the time on her phone. Nodding Dick began to leave and went to the Titan Tower as he went to his bedroom and lays down on the bed as he soon gor an emergency call. And of course it was from Bruce.

Dick had expected much. Knowing that the older man would soon eventually caught on to something fishy. Such as the decrease in crime rate and not seeing his everyday rouge of super villians. It would put anyone who managed to figure out something was off on egde. This made Dick smirk as he took the call and answered it, "Hello." He started of with and heard a sigh of relief on the other end on the phone. "Thank god I managed to reach you Dick, there's no time to talk now. The whole world could be in possible danger right now." Bruce says to Dick who nods and hums.

"What kind of threat are we dealing with here exactly?" He asked already knowing the answer. "I can't tell you now only when you and everyone else is at the Manor in the morning." Bruce stated rather seriously. Dick sighs pretending to be tired as if he had just woken up from his sleep to pick up the phone, "Ah, okay I'll be there don't worry Bruce." He says finally as he let's out a soft hum as the man on the other end had decided to end the call. Dick smirked grew wider as he was going to be having a lot of fun with this.

'Mmm... I'm not going to make the same mistake that happened in that dream of mine. I'll force them to join me if I have to.' Dick thought as he lays down and turned his phone off before he went to take his clothes of to take a nice, warm shower as his body felt a little grimy from being outside.

Once he was washed from all the dirt he manages to get his suit out and washed as he wanted to look and smell decent for his reunion with the rest of the batfamily he liked to call them. But everyone had seemed to have a dislike for the name even though it was rather accurate maybe it was because ut was too accurate in their opinion. As they do work with Bruce who is the Batman and have been adopted by him so technically they are a family owned by a bat even though its a man dressed in a bat suit.

Dick chuckles at himself as he found it amusing as he got rid of the dust and added a coconut scent to his suit to smell rather lovely tomorrow when he goes to the Manor. He went to lay down in his bed and soon falls asleep with another sleepless dream like any other night in his bed.

Kori was still up as she snuck into Dick's room feeling rather neglected by him. She took apon herself to try and grab his attention or at keast stay by his side for as long as she was able too. The alien women snuck up to Dicks bed and soon had easily slipped in and under the same covers he was in and snuggled up to his cold body. He was freezing to the touch but she didn't mind as she cuddles the vampire and shared her own body heat with him.
