Vampire King

Chapter 8

While the whole batfamily was dealing with the vampire crisis Hal and Barry had been at the beach and sat down together. The two of them had created each other seats so that they can sit on and talk about what had happened to Hal. 'Barry please don't hate me for this it's for your own good. I don't want you to die at the hands of another vampire.' The Green Lantern thought as he was already nervous about what he was going to tell Barry.

"You know Barry... something really great had happened to me." Hal started off with saying as his best friend smiled him, "Well aren't that good to hear." The blonde speedster said and it had almost brought Hal to tears as he was having to kill his friend that he had loved and cared for so long. Hal sighs as he stood up and smiled at his friend as he had tried to encase them only for them to scream and get out. "Barry I don't need you in making this even harder than it has to be." Hal hissed as the blonde who looked at him terrified.

"And just let you kill me? Isn't their another way in doing this?" The flash asked in a panicked tone as his eyes widen when the Lantern shook his head, "You have a fast metabolism meaning you would cause a genocide of the human race because of your thirst for blood. And our king doesn't want that to happen. I'm sorry." Hal says as he finally managed to trap the speedster and killed him by twisting their neck and body. "I'm so sorry Barry I wish I could of done something about this." Hal sobs as he finally let's the tear slide down his cheeks and followed his orders and wrote a letter in the sand before he had left the corpse to be found.

Dick and Hal had met and he could tell that the man was hurting because of the death of his best friend. The younger vampire of the two knew who that felt as he had to do the same with Wally once the male found out too soon. "It's alright things will get better and maybe one day you will be able to join your friend." Was all that Dick could think of saying as the GL nods at those words and soon went to the Justice League headquarters the watch tower.

Once their everyone had gathered it was just the main League members and that included Hal and they all went to the beach and saw Flash's corpses. Bruce went closer to it as he scanned the area and seemed to be looking around. "Who could of done this to?" Hal said with a sadden tone as he knew it was his doing but he just needed to play his role until all the Justice League members even if it was just the head members get turned into Vampires.

All of them looked at the dead body sadly as they couldn't believe what they have seen. It would have been almost impossible to match the man's speed and being able to take him down and forced him through death's doors. So they must be someone who was close to Barry that had done it and took advantage of their relationship and killed him. That was all that everyone could think of that had happened as getting close was near impossible for a stranger and a rogue.

'That's why it would be so easy to make the all believe that Batman had done it as he had closed connections and could take down all of the Justice League members down because of the many plans that he is able to come up with in his head. Too bad we have our own genius detective one our side as the vampire king and soon to be ruler of the world.' Hal had thought as he went near to Diana who he plans on turning into a vampire it would be easy once they are alone together and they can get the rest to belive Bruce had killed Barry.

Hal had hid a smirk underneath his hand as he pretends to sob and trying not to show weakness for the death of his best friend. 'It's all for a new world full of ever lasting peace.' He thought as he calmed himself down and went with Diana as they walked of as the group went there separate ways.

It was getting dark soon as they went to a place where fire was burning and what Hal didn't expect from the women was for her to lasso him up and demanding answers, "Why did you kill Barry? Wasn't he you best friend and our comrade? So why did you end him?" She asked in a demanding tone and Hal would have loved to hear such a voice if it wasn't for the situation he was now in. "I did it because we have no world anymore as mere humans." He says as Diana seemed to tight the lasso around him even more.

'Oh god this is such a turn on, no fair Diana!' He though and pouts as his eyes glowed a bright red. "So it's true you really have gave yourself up to be a vampire. What I'd it that your kind is trying to accomplish here?" She growls out as rage filled her eyes, "To make a world where us vampires could be able to live in peace without worrying about humans that could be hunting us down." Hal says as Wonder Women nods at th answers before he decide to continue, "You know, you and I aren't so different after all. Our powers come from an certain type of item. Yours your lasso, while mine is from my ring."

"What are you getting at here Hal?" Diana demands once again, "I had always admire you. And many other have done as well. I want you to join me and or king in this quest." Hal says as his eyes glowed a bright neon green as he slowly began to hypotis her. Luring such a powerful being to him. "Join us." He says as he soon was freed from his binds and Diana looked vulnerable as she let him take a bite of her. To drain her blood from her body, to turn her into something even more powerful than a mere goddess.
