Vampire King

Chapter 3

Standing still in his dinning room Dick took deep breaths as he calms his hunger. He was starving at this point and needed to hunt for fresh blood. But he couldn't stomach killing a human. And yet now he has to if he wanted to survive.

Walking out of the room he went away searching for someone that was late out at night. Looking everywhere in every city and as he was near giving up he saw a green light blaring out. So Dick went near it. As he suspected it was one of the many Green Lanterns that help protect the galaxy and the earth. Dick grinned as he saw that Hal was landing near him probably has saw him. Dick wore his Nightwing suit as to not look suspicious to the people as they would just assume he was doing his nightly routine.

Hal smiled soon turned into a mischievous smirk, "Oi! Where have you been for the past few months? Spooky had begun to worry about you!" The older male yells as he fully landed in front of Dick seeming rather relax and unaware of becoming the vampires next meal. "Oh I had other things to do and got stuck in trouble but can we please not talk about this to B. He would surely have my head." Dick says dramatically as he acted as his normal self in hopes that he can get closer to the GL.

Hal nods at this, "Well we sure don't want that to happen to the wonder cop do we now!" He joked as the two of them bust out in laughter. It had made Dick feel less tense around the hero but also guilty of what he was about to do next. "Oh god you are making me blush GL." Dick chuckles out as he got all nervous now and Hal saw the turn of confidence and dramatic to the shy and nervous. "Hey is there something wrong kid? You know I'm always gonna be there to try and help you as best as I can right?" He says and just made everything harder for Dick now.

"I'm fine, perfectly fine in fact I'm just a little hungry now do you know any good places to eat here in your well guarded city?" Dick asked trying to change the subject only to have Hal shrug at the question, "Well stores and cafes are all closes until the morning comes so we are out of luck there." Hal says as he smiled as an idea had seemed to came to him, "We could eat at my place it beats being hungry any day."

Dick nods as he let's out a sigh. 'I was hoping that I can avoid killing one of the Justice League members but I'm getting too damn hungry at this point.' He thought as he nods and suddenly went all quite as Hal lead him to the olders home and let's him inside. Now all Dick had to do was wait until the right moment that Hal had decided to put the ring down.

'Please put it down, please put it down, please put it down!' Dick begs in his head as he was trembling and Hal had noticed and sighs taking the ring off and puts it away, "Dick are you sure that you are okay? You haven't really been acting like yourself and the lenses of your mask are glowing red whys that?" Hal asked before Dick pouced onto the olde maled tackling them do the floor and had them in a tight grip around their neck.

Dick smirked at this as he was finally having a full course meal at last, "Well Hal you see you are my next meal." He growls out grinning from ear to ear as he said those words. The Green Lantern was shaking up and seemed scared of the younger male as he saw their fangs, "I could so easily kill you but then again you can be useful to me. You hold so much power in that little ring and being a vampire as well you may become unstoppable." Dick says as he began to think of ways of how he could use Hal.

"If I'm right having the ring would mean you would be able to walk in the sun unlike other vampires. Because the ring absorbs UV light doesn't it?" Dick asked the choking man who nods as he began to grasp at every straw just to live, "I can be of help and mange to get you allies if you want me to." Hal says as he tears up knowing if he wanted to live he had to betray his fellow Leaguers.

Dick smirked at the idea as he immediately bites down on Hal's neck and drank up his blood until he was now slowly dying because of blood lose. The next thing Dick does was bite his own wrist to let the blood pour out and forced Hal to drink his blood. When they where done Dick now had an new ally with him.

Hal Jordan looked at himself as he felt a sudden surge of power and licked his teeth to find he had his own fangs. Looking up at Dick he soon was helped up, "Let's make this world where everyone can live as one." Dick says as he held out his hand for Hal to shake. The older male looked at it nervous before he finally took it agreeing in helping his new King, his new leader.
