Sitting beside each other while waiting for the meat to get cook. You look at Karina who's grilling the meat at the other grill.

Both of you were tasked to cook the meat, and that doesn't seems bad, so you agrees.

Placing the cook meat on the plate as you listen to your friends and Karina's friends conversation, you take a glance at Karina who's standing beside you. She looks a little tired, maybe she is.

" I'll take that " reaching for the tong she's holding Karina look at you with confusion.

" Why ? " She asks.

You smile and shake your head, " You should take a bite too, I'll continue that "

Karina smile saying you that she's fine. " I can handle it, I'm not that hungry though "

" You're on a diet ? " You asks.

Karina nodded her head as an answer. " The company told me to. "

" They're cruel " You joked earning a tiny chuckle from her that you and her friends didn't fail to not hear.

They look at you and Karina's direction only to see the two of you smiling at each other while still grilling the meat carefully.

" Do you really don't know each other ? "

You and Karina look at your friends when both of you heard that. There you saw all of them looking at you and Karina. Your friends giving you a confusing look while Karina's friends are giving her a judging look.

They know Karina's not that hard to communicate with. She's fun and friendly.

You steal a glance at Karina trying to read her. She seems don't really want to tell them the truth or even let them know. You don't know what's her reason, but you understand why.
