You woke up early the next morning in your bed, Meliodas still conked out next to you. It was late when you went to bed so you didn't even bother looking at what he drew on your ass. You looked down at his chest and sure enough, the bite mark was still there. 'Well that's going to be embarrassing to explain,' you thought to yourself. You started to get out of bed, trying not to wake him but you were unsuccessful and he yanked you back into him. He pulled you into a tight hug, breathing in your scent. You wondered how long this was going to last since Elizabeth was older now, but because you were still traitors you couldn't set foot in the kingdom. You decided to not think about it anymore and rolled around in his arms to face him.

"Morning sleepyhead," you whispered, playfully booping his nose. He grinned at you and placed a soft kiss on your lips, "Morning Lil." You tried to wiggle out of his arms to get ready but he wouldn't let you out. "Meliodassssss, we need to get the tavern ready to open!" you whined at him. "Fine. But how's your ass feel?" he giggled. You smacked his chest lightly as he freed you from his grasp. You went to the bathroom to check out what'd he done. Your eyes were wide with shock, he drew the dragon sin tattoo he had on his arm on your ass! You couldn't play it off as a coincidence, it obviously matched his to a tee. "Meliodas!!! Seriously!!" you yelled at him while walking back into your room. He giggled again, "I think it looks nice."

You huffed but dropped it so you could get ready to open the tavern. You and Meliodas walked down the stairs and saw Hawk was already up. "Could you two be quieter next time?! I was trying to sleep!" he scolded. Meliodas ignored him and walked behind the bar, asking you, "You know what I haven't had in a while? A good pork pie!" Hawk screamed and ran into the kitchen. He knew trying to hide behind you didn't work because you just played off of Meliodas' teasing. The tavern was fairly busy with a regular crowd of customers, when you overheard some of them talking about a rusty knight wandering around Liones. You turned to look at Meliodas, he had heard them as well.

The door of the tavern swung open abruptly, and in walked the rusty knight. The customers started panicking and ran out the door. "Why'd you scare away all my customers?" Meliodas asked the knight, but they collapsed on the floor. The helmet rolled off, revealing Elizabeth's face. You and Meliodas looked at each other. Even if you were outcasts she still found her way to him. He picked her up to take her to your, now just his, room, "I'll grab a bowl of water and rag then be right up," you told him before he started up the stairs. You grabbed the water and rag and made your way to Meliodas' room. He, like the little pervert he is, was groping her boob disguised as "checking her heartbeat." You didn't understand why you felt a small pang of jealousy but you brushed it off quickly and brought the items to the bedside.

"How are you feeling?" you asked her. It'd been some years since she'd seen you and Meliodas and didn't seem to recognize you both despite having the same appearance as if you hadn't aged the last 3,000 years. "I'm feeling better, I think," she responded with a small smile. "So! Who are you and what brings you to my tavern?" Meliodas asked cheerfully. You rolled your eyes at him feigning ignorance, making sure she didn't see you but he did. He shot you just the tiniest of glares, he knew how your curse worked and what happened each time you died, so with every Elizabeth he was a little more protective of her against you. It hurt, but you understood his reasoning. You had the ability to easily wipe her out immediately and he would never forgive you for that.

"Have you eaten? You could try my famous meat pie!" Meliodas tried to persuade her but you piped up smacking him on the back of the head, "Absolutely not! I'll make you something." You smiled at her then headed to the kitchen. Meliodas brought Elizabeth downstairs to sit at a table then came into the kitchen. "What?" you asked him, but he just kept staring at you. "I'm not going to tamper with her food if that's what you're thinking, you should know me better than that," you continued, rolling your eyes at him. He sighed before saying, "I'm sorry Lil. I'm just on edge, I can't watch her die again." You couldn't blame him, you had encountered an Elizabeth right after resurrecting the last time and were particularly hostile towards her but it had been a long time since then so you were still a little hurt.
