the garden

Once Emily and Damian hear Katsu's footsteps fading away they quietly make their way out of the closet. 

Emily whispers "We can head to my room no one goes in there".

Damian nodded and they both proceeded up the stairs.

As they went up the stairs, Emily slipped up on the last step and Damian quickly caught her his hand on the small of her back and one of her legs bent and his legs between two steps he quickly put her back on balance and walked before her.

*this cannot be happening* he thinks.

Emily and Damian walk into the room and put their backs to the door as they both look out the door they turn their heads to look at the room but instead they find Anya and Katsu staring at the both of them with a concerned expression visible.

"Oh shi-" Emily says. Damian slaps his hand over her mouth and continues.

"SHITAKI MUSHROOMS!" Damian yells out loud for the butlers down the hall to hear.

"Uh what are you two doing in my room?" asks Katsu.

"And Damian what are you doing here?" questions Anya. She knows something is up. *Oh no were they doing something...no she doesnt wanna think about this* Before she can clear these thoughts an angry jealousy feeling bubbles up in her stomach.

"U-uh" they both look flustered and unable to speak but not for the reason Katsu and Anya thought they were.

"We were just touring the garden hehe" says Emily with a very unconvincing smile.

"But you guys looked like yall were playing bondman"

"Yes, while doing the project" *to make it sound less like a date* Damian adds.

"Oh well we have some snacks if you want you can come join us and we can share our progress"

"U-uh no thanks actually we gotta go still, hehe gotta catch up on those plants and butterflies!, see ya" Emily grabs Damians hand and busts open the door and runs out to the garden.

"That was too close" Damian manages to get out.

Because the mansion was so big getting out to the garden was a long run and Damian was very tired. He took to the gazebo in the middle of the botanical, Emily joined him and they started talking and getting to know each other. *He's so funny* she thought. 

Just as she thought that, Anya was looking out the window to check up on the garden work and sees that both of them were laughing together in the gazebo. She scoffs, *how romantic*, she whispers spitefully. She reads Emilys mind to see what she truly thinks..*hes so funny* *HAHAHA* *maybe he likes me back-?*. 

Anya gasps at the last part *NO THAT CANT HAPPEN* *Wait what am I thinking-?*.
