(Author's Note: I've been watching gameplay of Poppy Playtime and thought that this fandom needs a boost of nice, appropriate content! So...please enjoy my lovely, little story about Poppy Playtime and Friends!)Distressed, loud screaming and yelling could be heard alarmingly, echoing as it continued. The screams sounded so horrid and fearful, getting scarier as the moments passed. The volume of a person's heavy breathing increased as the screams became more faint and distant. The breathing quickened in horror, the pounding of a heartbeat getting faster and faster.
Suddenly, a loud, panicked gasp erupted and pounced off the walls of a dimly lit room. A pink, lilac-colored creature of fuzzy fur was laying on the floor hyperventilating, her expression was wide-eyed and terrified.
Her big lips gaped open as she took in each breath, her round, dark eyes filled with worry. As she regained a steady heartbeat and her breathing became normal, the pink, fuzzy creature began to turn her head and look around.
The room was small and dull with barely enough light to brighten up the area. It all seemed dark and colored by the shadows. The creature's red lips frowned and she looked down to examine her body. She had fluffy, long limbs with yellow feet and hands.
Instantly, it became noticeable that her body was not the best at agility and was having a hard time moving her long arms and legs. The creature let out a sigh and said in a soft, silvery voice, "Where am I?"
She began to look around aimlessly, feeling more confused the more she realized that she was lost. The creature wobbly got up on her feet as her arms dangling on her sides. Looking down at her feet, the pink fluffy beast noticed a cute blue ribbon tied neatly into a bow around her neck.
She attempted to raise her hand to touch the bow, but her arm flopped in the air and hitting herself in the face by accident. "Ouchie! Stupid arms!" The creature huffed out in frustration, although her voice sounded too sweet to truly give off the impression of anger.
Giving up, the pink fluff monster took a foot forward and almost fell back on the floor due to the nimbly feeling in her wobbly legs. She straightened her back to gain some balance in her stance, slowly beginning to process that she didn't know how to actually walk.
With a spark of determination in her luminous eyes, she began to move her limbs in an effort to teach herself how to walk. A few times, the creature fumbled on the floor, but would get right back up to try again.
After a bit of stumbling and walking wobblily across the room, she took a step and hit a wall. She leaned her head back as she looked up at the wall, making out a dark, white color of bricks that towered up into the darkness of the ceiling.
She lifted her arms up limply as she did her best to feel along the wall, searching for anything to help her understand the surroundings. A few moments pass and her hand hits something, making a clanking sound. She threw her arm back onto the object she hit, her wrist falling onto of a circular metal object that stuck out against the wall.
She tries moving her arm to roll the object, and tried to figure out the obstacle she was faced with. Finally, the metal object turned all the wall and a part of the wall opened up. A small gateway was revealed as the part of the wall swung out, hit against the other side of the wall.
The creature tilted her head as the puzzling new discovery she had made, ducking her head to wobble through the small entrance. Light blinded her vision for a few seconds until her eyes adjusted.
It was a white faded hallway with different colors and images along the wall. The hallway looked dull, the walls and floor covered in dust and scattered objects. The creature said out loud to herself, "What happened here?" She stumbled forward down the hall as she looked along the walls in curiosity.
The pink, tall beast stopped in her tracks as her eyes spotted an image on the wall. She walked up to it, taking in the bright colors of the image. She thought to herself, "Is that me?" The creature looked at the image of what appeared to be a creature that looked very similar to her.
She started to experience panic as she felt like she couldn't recognize who she even was. "Why can't I remember who I am?" She asked herself, hoping her name and identity would just pop up like a refreshed memory, but nothing came to mind.
The creature tried studying the image to figure out if it would give her information, but she couldn't understand anything that was going on in the image. She carefully processed the image in her mind, deciphering the image the best of her ability.
"Ohh, it's letters!" The pink monster exclaimed in a high pitched voice, finally understanding what she was looking at it. It was a poster that had an image of herself and words on it. She began to slowly spell out the letters.
"K-I-S-" She slowly said the letters while beginning to realize. "That's...That's my name," The creature popped her head up in surprise after spelling out the words. "Kissy Missy," the pink, fuzzy creature said with a small smile on her red lips and wobbly continued walking down the hallway with no clue of where she was going.
