CHAPTER 2: THE GRABBER

God i kept on thinking to myself why me? why im just a normal girl who wants her brother back and her life back, he didn't have a name but i just called him the grabber. He was horrible if i had the chance i would stab him 30 times or more because he deserve it especially after what he did to me today, so I didn't know what day it was he came down and open the door he told me that we were going to go on a little trip and didn't know why or what he was doing but he then grabbed me by my arms and told me to be a good girl and if i wasn't.... bad things would happen to me i was scared he gave this look he then put his hand on my face and told me everything was going to be okay and I just had to listen to him so that's what I did, i mean didn't really have a choice right?. He brought me upstairs and then brought to back of his van there was chain, "what's this for" i asked "you're going to help me with a little mission today and these will help you" he said. I was worried and i really didn't wanna help him or really do anything for him, next thing you know he put one of arms on the chain locked it up and close the door, he started up the car and we were driving it was a long drive but then we stopped. I hear him get out of the car and he was talking to someone I didn't know who it was until he opened the door it was Robin Arellano i knew him, he saw me in the van and wondered why I was here and then I saw the grabber grab something he was trying to kidnap him i wasn't going to let that happen. I kicked the grabber in the face I told Robin to run he didn't want to at first he wanted to help me but I told him just to run. The grabber was getting up "RUN" I said i got out of the car and pushed Robin so the grabber couldn't get him that's when I saw him,Bruce. I could tell there was shock in his eyes, I wanted to go to you Bruce i really did but I couldn't finally they all ran and i knew there was going to be a serious punishment for me - valerie

"OMG WHAT THE FUCK DID I ALMOST JUST GET KIDNAP I FEEL LIKE I CANT BREATHE" said Robin "yeah" said Bruce "but did you guys see who it was in the car" said Finney "yeah it was-" said Robin getting cut off by Bruce "it was valerie, and we have to save her" said Bruce. "okay how do we that i mean have you seen him" said Finney "so" said Bruce "so there's no way we can compete against him" said Finney "look there is no way I'm not doing anything about this valerie is- she's my friend and we have to do something about we can't just let her sit there wherever she is!". "Finn, Bruce is right we have to do something" said Robin "maybe we can tell the police without getting hurt" said Finney "NO! We need to go search for her" said Bruce "BRUCE we know you wanna find her but it's late and we have no idea where she is why don't we call the police tomorrow then see what they say and if that doesn't help then we will just go out and look for her" "sounds good to me" said Finney "fine but if that doesn't work we're are looking for her ourselves" said Bruce.

My life is done I don't know if I'm going to survive down here i have nobody i mean I never did my brother barley talked to me my mother she was always having something to drink and my dad...... well my dad i don't know where he is. He left when i was 3, vance was 4. But i just woke back up i heard footsteps i went into the bed like I was just sleeping, the grabber came down he sat next me and put his hands on my face again "now i told you to be a good girl and you didn't listen, so now you need you're punishment" he said i was scared but I didn't show him that then he pulled something from out of his back, a knife this was it i was about to die but then he put the knife to my forehead and slice my forehead all the way to my nose, I screamed so loud he just sat there and looked at me. Now I had a line down my face he put a towel on my face to wipe the blood "shhhh" he said "everything is going to be okay but if you think about doing that again next time it will be worst" his fingers rushed down my body he finally got up and and went back upstairs. I cried as soon as he left I couldn't take this anymore i just wanted to go home then the phone rang - valerie

It was the next day everyone slept over at Finney's since we were to scared to go home in the dark we woke up to loud screaming and yelling i saw Robin shaking his head at me like he didn't want me to go over there but i peak at little and saw Gwen and her dad, he was beating her with a belt Finney was just standing there watching it happened they kept on talking about police did that anything to do with us? No way we all agreed to do it today, finn saw us he told go outside im guessing his dad didn't know we were here so me and Robin quietly went outside and waited for Finney - Bruce

The phone kept on ringing I thought it didn't work i was really confused i went to pick it up "hello" i said "hey sis" I couldn't believe it was impossible "vance?" I said "yeah that's me" he said i was so glad to hear his voice but I didn't know how I was talking to him right but i was thankful that it was him "where are you" i said "let just say I'm next door". Next door??? What did he mean by that "I'm confused" I said "the wall there's another room actually there's a couple of rooms and there phone connected in all of them" he said "but I thought they didn't work" I said "oh they work just not in far range like you can't call the cops you can only call your "roommates" he said "wait so are you saying there's more of us down here" I said "not exactly" "so it's just us?" "yep but don't worry" i was shocked all this i thought all this time I was alone but I wasn't actually alone someone was with me and I was going to make sure we were all getting out of here - valerie

We waited for Finney finally came out with Gwen "guys I think you might wanna hear this" said Finney. Gwen sat down and we waited for her to say something then she said the craziest thing ever "so I knew you really wanted to find valerie and I've been keeping something from you Bruce, um i have dreams and they show me things" she said "what kind of things" said Robin "like a house or missing kids....." said Gwen "wait so are you saying?" said Bruce "yes I've seen valerie and i might know where she is" i wanted to be angry at her for keeping this away from me but it must be hard people might not believe her but I did because I could tell from her voice and the look in her eyes she wasn't lying about this. "Before we do this is it possible for you to be in contact with her again" i said "yes but I would have to fall asleep" said Gwen "so night-time?" said Robin "yes" she said "so we wait but in the meantime let's make a plan" - Bruce
