CHAPTER 4: GWEN'S DREAMS

it was the morning and there was loud knocking the door everyone was still sleeping my parents must of left "COMING" i said they were knocking so loud I didn't know who would knock this early in the morning I opened the door and I couldn't believe what I was seeing "Valerie?" i said "help us" said Valerie "help us" said Vance "are you okay?" i said "GWEN!!" said Valerie. I woke up breathing so heavily and that dream i had i think it was giving me a sign Valerie needs help. And Vance is alive? everyone was still sleeping i didn't wanna wake them up but i saw them but they were also running and this guy was carrying balloons, black balloons... it was so weird but i know i was getting a clue this dream show me something that no one else can see. I have to see where that dream was. - Gwen

I didn't know what time but me and vance could tell that it was morning from the light in the sky we were near this rock with some bushes "we should go to the cops they can help us" i said "no this guy is probably looking for us right now and I can't risk the cops" said vance "but we can't just hide out here" i said "we won't don't worry we are going home" said vance "but you just say we can't move" i said "no I didn't and we move these woods will take us straight to our house" said vance "really?" i said "yes sometimes i would take this shortcut" said vance "ok i trust you" i said "no shit you can always trust me I'm your brother" said vance. We walked in the woods my shoes very dirty from running i felt like we were going the wrong way but of course vance always thinks I'm wrong and he is right but I finally see light at the end of the path. "Home sweet home" said vance, i looked around and this wasn't our neighborhood but it was very familiar to me. "VANCE" i said "what?" said vance "this isn't our neighborhood" i said, he finally take a closer look at where we are. "Shit we i think we took the other shortcut" said vance, i took a close look because it was so familiar i realized that this is finney blake's neighborhood "come on let's g-" said vance "wait this is where finney blake lives" i said "finney who?" said vance "remember the kid you always you used to scare" i said "you're going to have to be more pacific then that" said vance "UGH OMG THE KID WHO WEAR THAT ONE BLUE T-SHIRT AND PLAYS BASEBALL" i said "isn't that bruce yamada" said vance "you know what nevermind, but let's go to his house and see if he can help him and me a friends a little bit" i said "how" said vance "that's a story for another time" i said -valerie and vance

i decided to ride around on my bike looking for anything,clues,hair, just anything, first I went around my neighborhood found nothing then i went around Robin's neighborhood also found nothing i kept going though until i went in this unfamiliar neighborhood and I stop by this sidewalk there was red on it, i knew from that I was on the right track, i parked my bike and searched around that area and found a black bracelet that had spikes on it but i turned it around and had found the initials V.H i was confused at first so I decided to take it with me i searched some more and found something that looked broken, looked like a mouth to a mask I tried to pick it up until i saw this man walking this way. I got on my bike and rode away like nothing happened i turned my head back and he was staring at me I decided to keep on going i didn't want any type of business with that man. - gwen

we ran to his house vance looked through the window to see if anyone was there but it looked like the lights were turned off. "nobody in there" said vance "let's try knocking" i said, i knocked on the door but still no reply until i heard a crunch behind my back. Me and vance look at each other and then vance took a kick to the leg and i took a kick to the head "WAIT DON'T KICK ME PLEASE" said finney "wait finney blake?" i said "yes that's me" said finney. Then my heart poured out tears from the inside i couldn't believe who I saw. "Bruce?" i said "val" said Bruce, i ran over and gave him the biggest hug ever we then put our foreheads together which made our nose touch "don't cry val it's okay I'm here now" said bruce "im just so glad to see you" i said while breaking down into tears "why don't we go inside" said finney "hey so you're not going to say sorry for kicking me" said robin "no?" said vance "hijo de puta" said robin "what did he say" said vance "better if you don't know" said finney. - valerie and vance

i rode all the way back home before it was to late and open the door to find valerie and vance hopper in my living room was i imagining this or, i didn't even know anymore "GWEN where were you" said finney "i went exploring" i said "with that kidnapper on the loose" said finney "yeah because this morning I had another dream and it was about valerie and vance so i went exploring to see if I could help you guys and find clues but it look like you found them already because they are sitting right here" i said "it's a long story" said finney "okay then" i said "did you find anything" said bruce "yeah but i don't think it's a clue about them I think it's a clue about the grabber" i said "what makes you think that?" said vance "because when i found a the clues there was blood and a broken mouth piece on the the ground like it belong to a-" i said "a mask" said vance "yeah how did you know that" i said "look the place that you went to go look for clue was where we were beating up that piece of shit" said vance "the grabber?" said finney "yes whatever you wanna call him" said vance "so this must be yours then" i said "what?" said vance. I pulled out the black spike bracelet "i found this with the initials V.H on it and you said you were there last night that only means you're V.H, Vance Hopper" i said "i mean wasn't it obvious but yeah it's mine" said vance "ok let's go back to the topic guys" said robin "right but while i was there some man came walking up to where I was at and i rode away i saw that he had dried red stuff in his hair im not trying to jump to things but i think that's-" i said "the grabber" said vance "okay will you stop interrupting me!" i said "no, you're statements are so obvious" said vance "okay so do you think we should tell the police" said finney "this time, yes" said bruce "hold up you can't just tell the cops about me" said vance "don't you want your mom to know you guys are home" said bruce "it's not like she's cares, also the day the grabber got me i ran away from the cops" said vance "maybe they forgot" i said "trust me they don't" said vance "look you can't hide out at my house forever and plus we have school tomorrow so" said finney "fine I'll go back to juvenile" said vance "you never know that might not happened" said bruce "yeah sure" said vance. -gwen

"Well guys im going to put val to bed she tired then we can talk more" i said "no shit she's been running around" said vance "she can sleep in my bed for now" said gwen. I picked her and took her to gwen room, took off her shoes and put her underneath the covers then gave her a kiss on her forehead "im sorry I wasn't there im sorry I didn't save you that day just know that i love-" said bruce "you okay?" said vance "is THE Vance Hopper asking if im okay" said bruce "look i know everyone thinks I'm rude or mean or just scary but I care sometimes too" said vance "really?" said bruce "yes and look valerie... she's a fighter and she cares about you so if i were you I wouldn't mess that up" said vance "but what if I already did from that day" said bruce "Bruce stop blaming yourself it wasn't your fault and valerie knows that so stop" said vance "but i feel like i made her go through all of that pain" said bruce "but you didn't you weren't there some sick, pedophile guy did this to her not you" said vance. At that moment i broke down into tears i didn't mean to cry in front of vance but when you keep something inside for so long one day you just to push it all out. "God i hate crying" said vance, but then vance walked up to me and gave me a hug "it's alright buddy everything going to be alright" said vance. - bruce
