Vance x fem reader

School

It was a typical morning for you. Finn and Gwen came in to wake you up by throwing themselves at you. Of course, it ended in laughter and you kicking them off of your bed.

Finn and Gwen: "Good morning!"

Y/N: "Yeah, morning to you guys too."

You then heard your dad's footsteps approaching the room. He stood in the doorway looking at the three of you. His look was very intimidating and his voice was very stern.

Terrance: "Keep it down."

He left just as fast as he came to the room. You all looked at each other with a little fear. Finn and Gwen got out of your room so you could get dressed. You wore your usual short-sleeved shirt and pants. You then went to brush out your hair and teeth. You weren't the type to eat breakfast in the morning so you just sat with the family once you were done. When Finn and Gwen finished, you all headed out the door to school.

~timeskip to school~

When you guys arrived, you saw a crowd of students. You three went to look to see what was happening but practically already knowing. It was Robin fighting Moose.

Gwen: "Holy shit! Robin's gonna fight Moose!"

Y/N: "Shut up! Listen."

After Moose and Robins had small talk, Moose took the first swing but missed which gave Robin the chance to beat his ass.

Y/N: "Go Robin! Beat his ass!"

Robin looked at you, smiled, and then went on to punch Moose in the face multiple times. When Robin was done, he was left there bleeding out like a deer that had just been hit by a car. You then sent the kids off as you walked to the high school. You rushed through the crowds of people to get away from everyone else. Mostly to dodge your bullies. They soon spotted you and started to follow you. You went into the girls' bathroom, hoping that would keep them out but it didn't.

Vincent: "You can't hide from us you little shit."

You soon just gave up and came out of the stall you were hiding in.

Y/N: "You're not supposed to be in here. You know that right? Kinda fucked up really. You all must be obsessed with me to follow me in the girls' bathroom."

Your sentence pissed them off. Vincent walked up to you taking a swing at you. Luckily, you dodged it. You took a swing back, hitting him in the nose. The other two boys, Hayden and Alex, helped him up. Then, they ganged up on you. Hayden holds you down while Vincent and Alex beat you. Of course, you got them pretty good too. Soon enough, one of your other friends, Millie, ended up hearing the commotion from outside. She rushed inside to see what was happening.

Millie: "What the hell?!"

They dropped you and turned to Millie. She was one of the fighters of the school like Robin was down at the middle school. They knew how good of a fighter she was and now that they were caught fighting you, they were scared since they knew you guys were friends

Millie: "Dipshits, move."

They moved out of her way, her tone somehow being more intimidating than her glare. She helped you up off of the floor, looking over you to make sure there weren't any serious injuries on you. She didn't expect there to be since you were a good fighter yourself and she knew you could fight too, but it was just a precaution she was taking.

Millie: "Fuck with Y/N again, I fuck with you."

They then left. She was done rinsing off blood from her hand from a fight she had just got done with and bandaged it.

Millie: "You alright?"

Y/N: "Yeah I'm good. I got a couple of good hits."

Millie: "I saw. Those fighting lessons are coming off good, huh?"

Y/N: "Well, I only learned from the best."

You had a quick laugh. You then quickly got out of there before a teacher caught you guys. You then went to your locker to get a few things. You were about to close the locker door until someone else did it for you.

Vance: "Hey Y/N."

Y/N: "Hey Vance. What's happening?"

Vance: "Nothing much. Did you see that fight though?"

Y/N: "Well. I only saw the fight that Robin had. Millie, on the other hand, I missed that one."

Vance: "Yeah. The fight with Robin. I saw it too. I could've done better though."

Y/N: "Right. Anyway, did you need anything?"

Vance: "Nope. Just gonna walk with you to class."

Y/N: "Well, you're welcome to do so."

You flashed him a smile before you got on walking. You and Vance had the same first class. You both entered, you receiving glares from other girls. You both sat down at your seats and class began.

~timeskip to after school~

You were already outside waiting for Gwen and Finn to get out. You were getting up as you thought you saw them but it was just Vance.

Vance: "Thought I was your brother?"

Y/N: "Yeah. What were you doing in there anyway?"

Vance: "That Robin kid wanted me for something. Anyway, I'll be going to Grab n Go later if you wanna join me. Today is the day that I'm going to beat my high score on that damn pinball machine."

Y/N: "I would be glad to."

Vance: "Great. See ya."

Y/N: "See ya."

After the talk with Vance, Finn, and Gwen finally came out from the doors.

Y/N: "What took y'all so long?"

Finn: "I had to wait for Gwen to get done with some extra work. The teacher kept her behind to finish it."

Y/N: "Gotcha. Anyway, let's go. I wanna get home."

Gwen: "Shocking sentence for you to say."

Y/N: "I have plans here in a bit."

Finn: "With who?"

Y/N: "Vance."

Gwen: "Vance Hopper?! You and Vance Hopper?!"

Y/N: "The one and only."

Gwen: "What the fuck?!"

Y/N: "Girl, we have been friends for who knows how long and you're just now figuring that out?"

Gwen: "I've never seen you guys talk before."

Y/N: "Oh, well fair point."

Finn chimed in.

Finn: "Yeah, I never knew that either."

Y/N: "Must be because he gets to school earlier than the rest of us. We only talk at school too. And when we hang out."

Finn: "Gotcha."

~timeskip to when you guys get home~

You guys walked into the house. You immediately went to your room to put your stuff away. You walked back to see Gwen and Finn watching TV and eating ice cream.

Y/N: "Is dad in his room?"

Gwen: "Passed out."

You nodded your head.

Y/N: "Alright, well, I'll be back in a little bit. If something happens, you guys run to Grab N Go. That's where I'll be, alright?"

They both nodded their heads. You washed off the blood from your hand from the fight that you had with your bullies earlier finally and grabbed your spare key to the house, putting it in your pocket.

Y/N: "I love you guys."

Finn and Gwen: "We love you too."

You then left to go hang out with Vance.
