"Class, last meeting, we discussed about Personal Relationship. How are attachments develop from infant as the mother was the primary caregiver, up onto teenager or what we called adolescence, hindi ba?"
Napatango kaming lahat. May iba pang nagsabi ng "yes, ma'am", and I'm one of them.
"We also discussed the three stages of falling in love. Ano nga ang mga 'yon?"
"Lust. Attraction. And Attachment." We answered in unison.
Napatango si Ma'am Rea. "Okay, very good, naalala niyo pa. Then, there comes Sternberg's Theory of Love. Then the commitment and the interdependency between two individuals na nasa isang relasyon kung saan hindi parin nawawala ang katauhan nila kahit they decided to commit with each other, that's the interdependency. And the last element to complete the Personal Realationship is the responsibilities inside a relationship."
"Now... before we moved on to the next topic, let's have first an activity. The same groupings parin, those five groups. And what will you do is give a scenario about the common problems in personal relationship, choose only one problem to present. And present that using a role play."
Nagtaas ng kamay ang katabi ko, si Chell. "Ma'am, kailan po namin 'yon ip-present?"
"Kailan? Tomorrow."
Most of us gasped. Bukas na agad? Ang bilis naman!
"You will present the activity tomorrow."
"Pero--"
"No buts. Tomorrow is the presentation, una ang group one." Pinigil ni Ma'am ang dapat na sana'y sasabihin ni Sophie. "I'll give you time to discuss with your group."
Nilinga ko ang paningin. Nakita ko ang leader ng grupo namin na isa-isa kaming tinatawag kaya naman tumayo na ako para lumapit. We immediately make a circle nang makompleto kaming lahat.
"Gosh, pa'no ba 'to? Ang daming gagawin, goodness!" Stress na sabi ng leader namin, sinang-ayunan naman nila 'yon lahat.
Aside kase sa role play na ip-present namin bukas, may iba 'rin kaming gagawin sa ibang subjects. Bukas may presentation 'rin kami sa Culture, tapos may reporting pa sa EAPP, may long quiz pa kami sa Practical Research bukas. As in, ang dami talaga naming gagawin! "Wala na tayong time mag-memorize ng script." Sabi ng isang ka-grupo ko.
"What if," Lahat kami naghintay sa susunod na sasabihin ni France, leader namin. Isa-isa niya kaming tinignan lahat. "On the spot nalang kaya?"
