SLOANE LOOKED around as she saw a neat room.
Room?
Sloane realised that she was in Ryland's sojourn.
She realised that when she was travelling.
She saw a small bed which was filled with food, garbage...
Then she saw random messy polaroids.
If she didn't believe Ryland or the Umbrella's that Ben was in their timeline too...
Now she did.
Her eyes saw a photo for her brother, but he was not their Ben.
This Ben, had a smile on his face which Sloane had never seen before.
It was a photo of Rylad, Ben and Five.
They were all about ten, eating sandwiches with overflowed marshmallow's.
But when she was actually inside of it... she thought it would be a dark room.
To her surprise, Ryland's sojourn was just like every other room.
even better.
It was all pretty and colourful. It was neatly maintained.
Before Sloane could further think, she realised she didn't know where Ryland was.
"Ryland?" she called to but heard nothing.
Sloane got worried instantly, "Ryland?" she called multiple times as she walked around the void.
Sloane walked around a few steps when she knocked into something...
someone.
"Shit!" she cursed when she realised Ryland was unconscious on the ground.
She wasn't moving.
There was some heavy damage on her side.
Sloane realised Ryland had completely shielded her from the attack.
"Why did you do that?" Sloane mumbled to herself with worry.
Sloane slowly bent down to see if she had a pulse.
Sloane did not know why... but she was terrified of the outcome.
Normally her life was surrounded by death or someone dying, it didn't bother her much... but something about Ryland not being able to make it terrified her.

Sloane sighed thankfully when she knew Ryland was still alive.
"I thought you died." Sloane said softly as she fixed the messy hair on Ryland's face.
"Not that lucky." Ryland muttered with her eyes closed.
Sloane's eyes widened when the unconscious girl spoke up, "You okay?"
