AFTER HEARING all the news, Ryland disappeared into her sojourn as it was way too much information she had to process.
The world was ending for the third time.
And they yet again have no idea how to stop it.
Ryland felt more and more hopeless, and weak this time as well.
All she wanted was to go to the sparrow academy, to see Sloane.
She still had no idea how she had ended up falling for her.
Ryland had fallen hard.
She chuckled to herself as she went downstair.
"I heard a rumor you stay." Ryland heard Allison's voice eco, her eyebrows squinted as she went to find the voice source.
"Don't do this." Luther begged.
Ryland heard Luther, "why is she rumouring Luther?" she mumbled to herself.
"I heard a rumor you want me." Allison's voice echoed, and Ryland ran towards their direction.
But by the time Ryland could reach the two, it was too late.
Allison had manipulated Luther, and rumoured him into wanting her.
Ryland gasped as Allison asked Luther to stop.
They finally got away from each other and Ryland started at Allison with fury.
Before she could lash out on Allison, Ryland had to make sure if Luther was okay.
She walked towards her brother and put a hand on his shoulder, "you okay there buddy?" she asked softly.
"This- you saw that?" he asked and she nodded.
"Are you okay?" she asked again and Luther shrugged a response.
"Let's go to the sparrow academy." she gave her brother a small smile.
"Stockholm Syndrome going on here?" Luther joked, but she could tell he was hurt by Allison's poor life choices.
Who wouldn't?
It was harassment.
People who thought guys couldn't get sexually harassed is total bullshit.
What Allison did, was wrong in all the ways.
She was in a bad place, but what she did to Luther should never be justified.
Luther's feelings for her had finally dialed down to zero, and she put him through that.
Ryland wasn't going to let her get away with it.
"I'll be right back, you leave first." she smiled and ran towards the direction Allison had left.

Ryland opened her eyes and she was in her sojourn.
It was her sojourn... no. Not right now.
It belonged to it.
She laid on the wet floor, as she heard the watery footsteps.
She knew this was bound to happen.
But she wasn't ready.
"Long time no see stranger."
