The rain thundered outside and I could hear the strong winds howling. I usually look forward to this kind of weather. Cold air and unstoppable rain always made me feel comfortable. I enjoyed the sounds of pitter patter on my window. However, today I was not looking forward to getting soaked.

Aside from facing a completely different place to live I was also transferring to a prestigious private university nearby. Rutherford was about 20 minutes from where I was staying. Considering the commute this was not too bad. I was more than excited for my third year, but more importantly, I wanted to meet people and get familiar with the area.

There was even a chance I would bump into the same guy from the hall after all. I wasn't able to get a clear look at his face to get an idea of his age. However, his husky voice did not seem to belong to someone in his 40s either.

I gathered my things in my backpack and started a warm shower.

...

The drive over to Rutherford was not too bad fortunately that may have something to do with my driving and the fact that I was heading out early. I wanted to be safe and secure a parking spot to avoid the stress of parking on my first day. I smiled to myself, this was positive, I could feel it.

While feeling confident as I approached my first class, I noticed a pair of bronze eyes looking at me. He wasn't just looking at me in fact he was coming towards me... he was coming towards... me. He was here.

I looked around me to make sure I was actually seeing him. I was not wrong and this made me nervous. His presence was overwhelming. Everything about him seemed so calm, controlled, and yet predatory. He smiled as he stood a step away. "Hello 363," He said. I smiled back feeling my blood rush to my cheeks giving away the butterflies that swarmed in my body. "Hi, Um..., Sorry I never caught your name." It hadn't occurred to me that he still hadn't told me his name and now here I was unable to even address him.

"Robbie and you? "

"Darcy."

"Nice to meet you, Miss Darcy" he whispered. His eyes searched my face curiously as if looking to find a way into what I was thinking as we stood in silence. This moment gave me a chance to look into his characteristics that I had neglected to read before. His face had sharp features and a strong jawline. He worked out, and it was almost impossible for him to hide.

Before I could think of what to say next a voice called from afar. "Hey, Robbie were you waiting long?" His eyes remained on mine as he spoke, "I will see you around Darcy, don't be a stranger". He reached for my hand, taking a sharpie out of his pocket as he wrote on my palm. I could not pull away because something about him made it difficult for me to step away. There was a strong desire I had to remain where I was. The way his cool breath felt so close between us. I wanted him to stay for an unknown reason his whole aura was pulling me in. I could only watch as he wrote before turning toward the blonde boy who was coming our way.

I looked down and read 'Robbie 832-945-6730'
