"Up, you get, Kassie." Hermione shook me awake.

I got up, rather reluctantly. "Chare, Hermione." I yawned. "Is it morning, already?"

"Yep. Let's go." Hermione said. "Get dressed. It's the first day, today."

I got dressed in my school robes. The Black and Red Robes that I had always worn. Tied my hair in a tight ponytail, and headed out the door.

Lavender was already gone. But who cares about that?

We made it downstairs, only to see Seamus run down in a rather fast pace out of the boys dorms.

"What's with him?" I asked.

Hermione shrugged. "I don't know. Guess he has places to go."

About Five minutes later, Harry, Ron, and Ryan came downstairs and Harry looked pretty angry.

"What's the matter?" Hermione asked as we all headed down to breakfast. "You look really angry about something."

"Seamus had a fight with Harry, last night. He reckons that Harry was lying about You Know Who." Ron answered.

"Well... Lavender thinks so too." Hermione added.

"Yeah... she was talking about it last night, before we went to bed." I said.

"Been having a nice little chat with her about whether or not I'm a lying, attention seeking prat, have you?" Harry asked.

"Harry..." We would never say that about him. Not any of us.

"No." Hermione answered calmly. "I told her to keep her big fat mouth shut about you, actually. And it would be nice if you stopped jumping down our throats because in case you haven't noticed, we're all on your side."

"Lavender called me a liar too." I added.

There was a short pause. I didn't like it when we fought with each other.

"Sorry." Harry apologized in a low voice.

"That's quite alright." Hermione replied with dignity. She then shook her head. "Don't you remember what Dumbledore said at the last end of term feast?"

"How could we forget?" Ryan asked. "He said Voldemort's gift for spreading discord and enmity was great. We can fight it only by showing an equally strong bond of friendship and trust-"

"How do you remember stuff like that?" Ron asked.

"Because he listens, Ron." Hermione clarified.

"Actually it was because I re-read the scene in the Script." Ryan corrected holding up a Script that said: 'Order of the Phoenix Script.'

"Well.. I listen too, but still couldn't tell you exactly what-" Ron countered.

"The point." Hermione interrupted loudly. "Is that this sort of thing is exactly what Dumbledore was talking about. You Know Who's only been back two months and we've already started fighting among ourselves. And the Sorting Hat's warning was the same; stand together, be united-"

"United we Stand, Divided we fall." I said.

"Well, Harry got it right last night." Ron retorted. "If that means we're supposed to get maty with the Slytherins- fat chance. It's not like Barnaby or even Liz Tuttle are in Slytherin anymore."

"Well, I think it's a pity we're not trying for a bit of inter-House unity." Hermione said crossly.

"Uh... Hermione. We have been doing that." I pointed out. "I mean... we've teamed up with Beatrice and Cedric who were Hufflepuffs while you were Petrified by that Basilisk."
