Snyde Manor. (3rd Person P.O.V)

To say that Voldemort was furious would be a great understatement. He was absolutely pissed off that his plan to take the Prophecy failed. But more than that. A number of his finest Death Eaters were now imprisoned in Azkaban. All thanks to the failure of Lucius Malfoy.

"IMBECILES! FOOLS! DISGRACES!" Voldemort hollered as everything in the room fell to the floor.

Snyde looked at the devastation. And while it shamed him to fail the Dark Lord. A part of him was happy that he wasn't the one getting burned out for him. He always saw people like Malfoy, or Trotsky as rivals. The Malfoys were as Pureblood as they came. And they were always above the Snydes. And the same could be said for the Family Black. But after the events in the Ministry. Both the Blacks and the Malfoys were done. Sirius Black was dead. And without him, the family line was destroyed. And the Malfoys. They would be shamed. The Family that had commanded the respect of the Wizarding World would be forever shamed by this incident. Without them... the door was wide open for the Snydes to be the clear favorites of the Pureblood world. Snyde had killed two birds with one stone.

"My Master... the Ministry. The World knows now... that you have returned." Wormtail started to say.

"Get out!" Voldemort snapped to him and shut the door in Pettigrew's face.

"I told you." Snyde said. "Malfoy would fail."

Voldemort stopped and looked at Snyde. "Yes. Yes you did." He admitted. "I should've known that Malfoy would botch this up. He can never do anything right! Especially after his failure with my Diary and unleashing the Basilisk!"

Bellatrix was in the room as well. "Such failure to you, My Lord. I say we should use the Cruciatus Curse on him! To show him failure!" She suggested.

"You've shown me failure that night as well. You both have." Voldemort pointed out.

"My Lord. Now that the Prophecy is gone. How will we bring down Harry Potter?" Snyde asked changing the subject.

Voldemort walked over to the window. "Forget the Prophecy. We're done in trying to make sense of those things. If we're to bring down Harry Potter. We'll just have to kill him. But before that, we must bring an end to Albus Dumbledore." He answered.

"He protects Potter. Without him, Potter will be more exposed than ever." Snyde added. Anything to get in Voldemort's good graces.

"Indeed." Voldemort agreed. And then he looked out the window of the Manor. "And I know the perfect way to destroy Dumbledore."

Snyde looked confused. "Already? That was fast."

Voldemort looked at him.

"But I expected no less from you, My Lord." Snyde quickly said.

"Lucius Malfoy has failed me. And for that, he will be punished." Voldemort informed.

"Isn't he already in Azkaban?" Pettigrew asked opening the door again and hearing the whole conversation.

"If he is smart, he will stay there." Voldemort said. "Erathor can do with him as he wishes. But there are... other ways to punish. Perhaps the time has come to test the loyalty of the other Malfoys themselves. Bellatrix!"

Bellatrix came forward.

"Call on your sister, Narcissa. We have business to discuss." Voldemort ordered.

"As you wish." Bellatrix then apparated away.

Snyde looked at Voldemort. "What is it that you intend my Lord?" He asked.
