Yuki! Yuki! Minami hollered as she burst through the door, hugging me tightly. Hey, please be gentle, alright? Kazeya grinned. I said, "hey Minami," with a small grin on my face. Sincerely, that was the only time I had a smile on my face—when I saw her. I won't write about my recovery because it was so monotonous—all I did was sleep, eat, and repeat while gazing out the window. One more thing: these expeditions typically last five to ten hours, so I don't want to write about the entire thing; instead, I'd like to focus on the highlights. I suppose that's all the information people really need to know.

I then called a meeting for the entire military after I had recovered. This meeting served as a reminder that the following expedition will take place at this time the following year. that each week, there are over 10,000 casualties in society as a whole and over 125 casualties among the military cohort. Instead of locking ourselves away every three months, we had to go out and assist people in society as a whole. Everyone concurred, so I divided the work between the squads:

Elite squads serve the general public. Squads 1, 2, and 3 were temporarily assigned to the front lines of battle. Squads 4, 5, and 6 were tasked with providing medical assistance. The remaining squad members were instructed to continue training and to protect the nearby military facilities. The commander sent us three elite squads on a private expedition to learn more about these beasts and protect members of society, so the commander and I decided to assign squads 1, 2, and 3 to the front lines rather than the elite squads.I just hope the acting captain is managing things satisfactorily back in the city. For a 5-year-old, Minami's capacity for persuasion is amazing; she convinced the commander to accompany us! Due to the departures of Nekonya and Misaka, Elite Squad 2 was down to just two members. As can be seen, not many people were dispatched on a private mission, but at least we do not have many people to be concerned about. Kazeya suggested saido island because it was where my mother worked and continues to work when we set out to find the first pack of beasts. I concurred and we started out because I had a hunch that se would be there because she would have gone there to avoid the beasts.

We crossed the highway that was once there. Cars were flipped over and scattered across the road in pieces. We were close to Watanagawa, which was the town to pass through to get to Saido island, and the air smelled musty. On the upcoming road, I noticed an odd sight. I told everyone to halt. I dismounted and started to walk over; the closer I got, the worse it smelled. A fresh body was what it was. When I looked up, I saw what appeared to be hundreds of them. I sprinted over and mounted my steed. "Everyone, pay attention! Beasts have recently passed through this area, so I advise that we move as quickly as possible to Saido island. I need to know that my mother is safe and that she is still alive and well, so they all agreed and made their way as quickly as they could to Saido Island. On the island up ahead, I noticed creatures and faint screams. I gave the order to spread out and to keep everyone safe at all costs as soon as we all arrived on Saido island. I took a ride to my mother's workplace. I had to kill the beast before it attacked anyone nearby, especially my own mother, after hearing a loud crash. A scream came from there, and when it did, it revealed the beast towering over the trees and holding a victim. My mother answered.

I jumped off my horse and flew over, putting everything else on hold in order to save my mother. I approached the beast, blinded it, sliced open its nape while grabbing my mother, and then I landed on a branch high up in a tree. My mother was clutching me tightly while in fear, but she seemed genuinely relieved that I was still alive. I started to grinne widely because I was so relieved she was still alive. She would have died if the commander had not ordered us to leave. The monsters that had made it over here were still being killed by everyone. My mother and I remained in the tree. "Oh honey, I'm so glad you're okay, you're such a trooper!" She sobbed to me, "Thank-you so much for saving my life. We had to leave quickly because the branch was beginning to crack. There were many animals on the island. I made the decision to have my mother hold onto my back, so I had to gather the squads. I jumped off the branch and began bringing everyone together. "We need to get everyone off this island. Find as many people as you can, at any cost," was said after that was finished. This cannot be resolved by us alone.

In order to keep my mother safe while everyone searches for as many people as they can, if there are any survivors, I asked Linke to go to the mainland across the bridge. I flew from tree to tree, searching everywhere for people, but all I found were dead corpses and no one was alive. "HELP!" A person's scream resounded in the distance. I sped through the trees and came over as quickly as I could. discovering a mother and her son being encircled by three beasts as they approach them. I flew over them, slicing off their napes, and landed in front of them as the animals behind them collapsed to the ground, spewing yellow smoke. I seized the mother and son before escaping. I reached the island's edge and ran into Kazeya and Kurozawa there. We just needed to make sure nobody else was on the island as Akima made his way back to the city to deliver my mother and these two other people to the military."The military will take good care of you and your son in the city," the military said. I had some business to take care of at Saido Island, so I drew my swords to lift me up to a nearby tall tree and looked around; no one was in sight, but they might be inside. I knew I couldn't handle this task by myself.

I motioned for Kazeya and Kurozawa to assist, instructing them to search the island's surf side for anyone. As they took off, they nodded. I jumped down and started walking through the nearby neighbourhoods looking for people seeking refuge inside of houses. I shouted if anyone was inside each house as I approached the door. I felt as though I was in a deserted town because the streets were covered in human remains and there were bones all over the place. It is a pit of hell. A beast was staring directly at me when I slowly turned my head around after hearing something snap behind me.

I slowly turn my head, and there, staring back at me, was a beast. I ran over to it, threw myself on top of its nape, and slashed it as deeply as I could while drawing my swords. I was praised by a family as they fled from a house after I had saved their lives. I need an honest response. Is anyone else you know present? No, we were the only ones, and we were inside watching as those monsters devoured people alive. said the father. Follow me to the bridge; more people will be waiting to take you there to receive assistance.I mounted my horse and rode after everyone else, hoping there wouldn't be any survivors on that island who were dying. One year had passed since the attack on Saido Island. Extra information: We have a facility back in the city where we house all the survivors; it resembles a hotel.
