Chapter 3 (Do we know anything about each other?)

'He messaged me back! At like 1am. Seriously??!!..... Wait. He lives in Australia. Different time zones. That makes more sense.' I thought about all of this when I woke up and checked my phone. Which revealed that Jai had replied. I quickly typed his number into my contacts and added it as: Jai <3. So what? There's a heart. I like him.

I typed him a quick message before getting ready for the day. It said: Hey Jai! Its Ariana! Thanks for responding!!! :)

Then I got ready for the day.

Today was going to be an extremely long day. I had a table run for the show until 2. Then I got 2 hours off and had to go to the studio at 4 until at least 6. But I usually end up staying 2 hours more than planned.

I threw on some sweats, a tank top, and a hoodie. Then I put my hair into a ponytail and applied a little mascara. Nothing else. I didnt really have anyone to impress today.

Jai and I had been texting most of the day. Even though I had work to do I managed to text him. So even though I was supposed to be trying hard on teh table read, it wasn't my best one yet. What can I say? I was distracted.

Now I get 2 hours off. I decided I would head to Starbucks for a frappucino and a donut and then go home to take a short nap. Jai and I were still texting.

So tell me something about yourself. Something that the press doesnt know. -Jai

That is a hard question to answer. The press seems to find some way to get into my life, all the time. So he probably knows a lot about me, where as I know almost absolutely nothing about him.

I despise cats. Even though my name is Cat in victorious. haha -Ariana  (A/N these faacts probably aren't true. Im just making them up)

That was probably a really lame fact. But it was the first thing that popped into my head.

Haha. I kinda already knew that. You never seemed like a cat person. More of a dog person. ;) -Jai

Well.... I like to wear colored contacts. Just cuz i think it makes my eyes look funny. -Jai

HAHA. what color are your eyes anyways? i never really saw a picture -Ariana

brown. i guess we really dont know a whole lot about each other do we? -Jai

No we dont. :( -Ariana

Jai and I talked for hours. Neither of us cared what time it was for us or for each other. We were just having fun talking to each other. Just getting to know each other better
