Baz was really pushing Mary's limits, but it was great. He rushed her to write a song overnight in time to show him the next day. Baz had booked a slot at a recording studio 20 minutes away, he thought that if he could get Mary to write an entire song overnight to preform for him, he would finally know that she was ready for the future that consisted of constant rushing and a racing mind 24/7.

Baz knew it was a lot for her, she had told him all about her daughter, Gloria and her late-night job, but there was something that just told him that she could do it. Unfortunately, Mary missed out on movie night and spent the entire night cooped away writing and rubbing away. She had a plan for the song, a basic idea and an imagine in her head - she wouldn't stop until the words matched the pictured portrayed in her mind, even if it meant she would continue writing in the cab on the way to the studio.

Mary had finished the song just as the clock struck 2AM. Nine hours she had spent writing the song. Tear drops stained the wrinkled pages from her many breakdowns, empty glasses surrounded the bedside table and no other sound than light snoring that came from a sleeping Venus was audible. Mary hadn't just written a simple song, she created art. She didn't know in that moment or in the next hours her song would change everything in her path, that her song that was rushed and considered a quick mess would shape the future. For nothing that Mary Grant did was a movement or a mess, it was a masterpiece and would always been seen as such. She directed the film she lived in and improvised her lines through her shooting. Mary would soon receive her long-awaited standing ovation that she always dreamed of, much sooner than she ever imagined.
