I watched still frozen in place as Amy approached him without hesitation. I tried to move but I couldn't as I watched Amy seat him on the side I normally provided service to. I breathed shakily as I finally found the strength to move. Cold as ice I briskly walked to the back area as my acting fell apart.

"There's a new group of masters who wanted to speak with you Nova!" Amy said as she walked in the room after me.

"I can't go out there." I choked out nervously.

"What do you mean?" Amy said dumbfounded.

"My character is falling apart because of my own embarrassment and fear..." I muttered turning to Amy who seemed concerned.

"Do you know one of them or something?" Amy asked cocking her head.

"Something like that." I muttered my brain not working as I didn't even warn Amy he was the Shadow Prince.

Amy sighed and smirked. She patted me on the head and giggled.

"Don't worry I'll handle it then. You take some time to recuperate!" She said cheerfully as she turned to leave.

My eyes widened. What if he got mad and lashed out at Amy. He was a murderer. What if sending her out there instead of me meant I would be sending her to her death. I couldn't let that happen. I grabbed Amy's wrist as she began to walk away.

"No. It's fine. I'll go out there." I said forcing a small smile.

"You sure? I have no issue covering for you-" Amy began to say confused.

"Nope. It's quite alright. They asked for me the Tsundere so I'll go." I said starting to walk out to greet the men who were waiting.

Amy wished me luck before heading further into the kitchen. I frowned knowing that I would surely need that luck if I wanted to survive. My heart was racing as I walked out and headed towards the table that had asked for me. The Shadow Prince's eyes watching my movements carefully. I took a shaky breath and threw myself into character hoping if I just played pretend I'd get away with it. I slammed my palm down on the table and glared into the eyes of the murderer who I feared the most out of the whole group.

"What do you want?" I spat my voice unwavering.

His friends murmured in surprise as he looked at me with his eyebrows raised. He let out a small hum of content before he spoke. He looked over my outfit before his eyes locked with mine.

"You. Tsundere." He said smirking slightly as my eyes darted away from his.

"I'm not for sale, baka! Choose something off the menu." I grumbled holding my character.

"Such a shame. I'll have a coffee then. Get my friends here some sweets." He said tapping the table in a fidgeting way.

"Fine. I'll get someone to bring you your order-" I was cut off when the Shadow Prince spoke.

"Actually I'd prefer if you brought it here, Nova." He said in a tone that made my knees go weak.

I froze up then tried to take a step only to have my knees buckle. I glanced over my shoulder to see the amusement in his eyes. He was messing with me on purpose. I had to stay strong. Relying on my character heavily I stormed away and into the kitchen. I ordered six sweets and coffee piping hot. I also took a tall glace of ice water holding the tray carefully I headed back out to the table. As I approached I couldn't help but smile. I placed the sweets down one by one. Then I placed down the boys coffee last.

"Enjoy masters. Oh wait! It seems like I have a water left. My bad I'll get rid of it." I said smirking.

I picked up the glass of water and dumped it over the boys head. He looked up at me glaring as he picked up a napkin and tried to dry himself off. I couldn't help but laugh. He was a well known murderer who I though was going to kill me long ago but instead he was letting me get away with being a bitch to him. His friends were all laughing as he sighed and smirked at me. Taken aback I frowned.

"Little Tsundere, a bit of water isn't going to bother me." He said as he picked up his coffee and took a small sip.

"What will bother you? It's literally my job to be a bitch." I snapped still in character but my thoughts seeping through.

"Nothing. Anything you do is amusing. I would like for you to keep trying your best. And from now on refer to me as you're supposed to. I am your master, call me master Jax." He said in a smooth voice.

"Master Jax? No way." I snapped as I spun around to leave.

"Wait!" The boy said grabbing my attention and for some reason I completely stopped obeying him.

"What?" I asked turning to face him.

"Bring me a slice of cake would you? And write a nice message." He said grinning.

I nodded and left. He had no clue what he had just done. I was writing the most rude message I could come up with. Knowing who he was I knew I was sure to get on his nerves this time. As I walked in the kitchen I grabbed a red piping bag of icing. My hands were shaky as I wrote on the slice of cake.

"Have a great day living with the murders from your past. I hope the blood you've spilt comes back to haunt you Shadow Prince idiot." I mumbled out loud as I wrote it.

I grinned as I picked up a fork and carried the plate and message to his table. I slammed the plate down leaning over him as I stabbed the fork into the cake. I stuck my tongue out at him and turned to leave.

"Enjoy master." I snapped as I began to take a step away.

To my surprise though I gasped as I was yanked backwards by my wrist. The Shadow Prince yanked me down onto his lap as he grabbed my jaw and held my waist tightly. He was frowning.

"You don't understand that someone like me doesn't get haunted by the blood we've spilt. Also will you not go around spreading that awful nickname. My name is Jax." He said his voice threatening.

I forced myself past my terrified state and went back into character. I crossed my arms still on his lap since I knew if I tried to fight I wouldn't win anyways.

"I guess I bothered you. I win." I said smirking.

He paused for a second appalled I went back into character. Then he tightened his grip on me and smirked as he placed a kiss on my forehead.

"The Tsundere act is cute but I know you're just a little innocent sub. Stop pretending like you're un-phased to be sitting on my lap right now. I can see it in your eyes you're terrified." He said a small smile on the corner of his lips.

That was it. I couldn't hold on to my character anymore. He broke me. My cheeks turned hot and I bit my lower lip as I got flustered not knowing what to say next. It seemed like he picked up on that right away though and he spoke first.

"I have no intention of harming you. I might be a scary murderer in your eyes but I swear I wont kill you. You're too much of interest to me." He said his voice confident.

"Why am I of any interest to you? Why did you show up here today?" I asked confused.

He shook his head though and pushed me off his lap. I wanted answers but I could tell he wasn't going to give me any. I frowned as he and his friends stood up and got ready to leave.

"The cafe is closing but I'll see you around." Jax said.

I watched him leave and once he was gone my eyes widened in shock. I had just called him by his name in my head. He was getting in my head.
