Lunch was great. I ordered a caesar salad while Mycroft ordered one of the most expensive steaks on the menu. When we finished Mycroft spoke: "I think you should take a day of, you've been working for days straight now."

"Well, if I really need to." I said, pushing out the 'really'.

"I'll drop you off, take a bath or something." He exclaimed, sighning the butler to get us the receipt.

I fell down on the cough as soon as I shut the door of the mansion behind me. I laid there for a couple of minutes, minutes turned into an hour, and an hour turned into hours. I woke up to the sound of mumbling and someone clearly struggling with opening the door. I immediatly jumped up and took a look at the surveillance camera's. I was surprised to see two men trying to force the door open.

I ran over to the kitchen, grabbing the pistol hidden in the kitchen counter and hiding it behind my back. I hid around the corner of the doorframe. As soon as I heard the frontdoor open I turned away from the doorframe, revealing my sillhoute. I pointed the gun directly at one of the guys heads. In response one of them wipped out a gun too, but only one of them. I switched my aim at him:

"You should considering dropping that." I said, glaring at them.

"Pff, a woman. Get her." The man with the gun said to his mate, who then sprinted up to me. I didn't hesitate for half a second. I lauched myself forward, straight at the man running towards me. I was able to hit him straight in the stomach while dodging a bullet fired by the other man.

*Bang*

The unarmed man sank to the ground as I ran up to the other intruder. I jumped at him, wrapping my legs around his neck. I sat ontop of his neck as I hit him on the head with the handle of my gun. He fell down, unconsious. Or dead, I couldn't really decide.

I calmly walked over to the other man, who was still shivering and hovering on the ground. I looked him in the eyes as I also hit him on the head.

While trying to catch my breath, standing over the unconsious body's of the men, the door behind me swung open. In the dooropening a concerned Mycroft:

"Jezus Y/N!" He screamed, running up to me.

I laughed it off: "Well, you're surely gonna need to clean that floor now. And that hole in the wall." I said, whiping the fresh blood off my forehead.

I glared down at the puddle of blood under me, just then I realised that that wasn't their blood. It was mine.
