"TRIS!!GET UP!!" Andy shouted. I rolled my eyes and got changed into my black crop top and skinny jeans that has holes in. I added some eyeliner and mascara. I added some dark red lipstick and threw on my leather jacket and boots. I tied my hair up and plaited the front of my hair and curled the ends. I ran downstairs and grabbed an apple and slammed the door shut so I don't hear Andy shout at me about my aptitude test. I hope I get dauntless. My life is meant to be here but away from Andy and Eric. I eat my apple and head to my friends in the cafeteria.
"Hey" I said as I plopped down next to Four.
"Hey" Uriah,Four,Lynn, Shauna and Marlene said.
"Soooo...You ready for the aptitude test?" Four asked.
I nodded and thought about what I will do after I pass my test. I was in deep thought until someone came over and grabbed my arm, dragging me away from my friends. We stopped and I looked up and saw Eric.
"Miss me?" He smirked.
I rolled my eyes,
"what do you want?" I said harshly.
"I want to ask you what you will be choosing?"
"What do you care?"
"I want to be with my lovely girlfriend for the rest of my life." He said, acting all sweet.
"To bad I don't want to." and with that I started walking off to the train. He grabbed my arm and turned me around to look at him.
"You are going to love me and you will choose dauntless." he said angrily. I rolled my eyes and ran to the train.

Everyone was running to get on the train and finally I swung in. I sat with my legs hanging of the edge of the train until we came into the city. I jumped out the train and landed perfectly on my feet. I ran to the dauntless line and waited. I looked at all the other factions and they look dull. Especially the stiffs. I heard a fight and I saw a candor arguing with the abnegation. he looked cute.

Finally my name was called and I entered the room to see Tori. I smiled at her and sat down in the chair. She injected the serum and soon I was choosing either a knife or a piece of meat. I didn't know what and soon it disappeared. A terrifying dog ran towards me and I didn't know what to do so I went on my knees and covered my face with my hands. 'this isn't real' I thought and soon the dog had turned into a cute puppy. I petted the dog until a little girl came. The dog soon turned terrifying again and it ran at her. I ran after the dog and tackled it to the ground.

"Get up" I looked up to see Tori.
I looked at her puzzled but she just brought me to the back.
"You are a mix of abnegation and dauntless and amity"
"Wait. Divergent?"
She nodded her head and I ran away. I was meant to be dauntless not divergent. Oh god I'm going to get killed. I jumped on the train and waited to get back to dauntless hq and finally I got off. I ran to the cafeteria but no one was there. I started to head back until someone spun me around,
"What are you doing here so early? What was your aptitude result?"
I laughed
"Aww caring boyfriend" I sarcastically said. I smirked
He rolled his eyes,
"TRIS!!" He shouted.
I winced back. I can't tell him I got a mix or he will kill me without hesitation.
"I got dauntless and it made me feel sick so I went home early" I lied. Though it did make me feel sick. I'm definitely not candor. I might never see cutie from candor again.
"Fine." he said and walked off. I went searching for Four and found him in his apartment.
"Hey Tris"
"Hey"
He was like an older brother to me. We sat on the sofa chatting about things until he asked what I got for my aptitude test result.
"Uhh," I trusted him, "I got a mix. I'm divergent. Four, help me, I'm scared."
I whispered.
"Don't worry just don't tell anyone. You can't trust them. Not your friends or family. Definetly not Eric"
I nodded and went back to my home. Tomorrow I'm leaving here and Andy. I smiled. No more of him.
"Tris!!!" He slurred.
He must be drunk again.
"You got dauntless?"
I nodded.
"Choosing dauntless?"
I hesitated. I didn't know if I want to stay here with Eric.
"You are HESITATING! I BROUGHT YOU UP DAUNTLESS AND YOU WILL STAY DAUNTLESS" he screamed.
I winced but then I had pain in my back. He was whipping me with a belt. And then he started punching my face. and after 1 more blow it went black.
