I get the feeling that knives are being shot at me... Ben looked around and ALL the male students glared at him with murderous intent.
"Airhead?! Who are you calling airhead sir?!?!" Piper said as she runs up and punches Ben in the arm. "Ow!" He said. More like an air headed gorilla if ya ask me.. She hits hard!
"That hurt ya damn gorilla!" Ben yelled..He immediately shuts his mouth, after realizing what he just said. Piper's face turns into an angry gorilla and glares at Ben, "What'd you say to me ya old man?" Piper asked.
"I'M NOT EVEN AN OLD MAN I'M 20!" Ben said, "Well you look old..AND FOR YOUR INFORMATION I'M NOT A GORILLA YA CHIMP!" Piper huffed.
Ben scoffs, "Why you over anyway airhead?" Ben asked as he sat back down. "I wanted to say sorry for bumping into you earlier but I guess I won't now, you're just a mean chimp." Piper sticks her tongue out at Ben.
"I'M NOT A CHIMP DAMN IT!" Ben said. "AND I'M NOT A GORILLA, FORGET THIS!" Piper turns and walks away.
"Tch.." Ben said as he sat back down by his friend. "Dude... you just insulted the prettiest girl in the school.. You got some balls." Lucas said.
"Okay.. your point?" Ben asked as he looked at him like he was dumb. "Umm.. Yea alright fair enough... IS WHAT I WOULD SAY!! ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR MIND?!?!" Lucas said as he punched Ben's shoulder.
"Dude! What's the big deal? She's just some girl." Ben said, taking a bite of his lunch. "Just some girl..? She's a goddess of the whole school, and now all the males will be giving you stab stab looks, I mean look." Lucas points.
Ben looks all around him and people are STILL glaring at him. "Who does he think he is..?" Someone says. "Saying something so rude to our piper.." Another person says.
"Ha..those guys?! They're all just simps.. They don't scare me." Ben said.
-RRRIIINNNGGG-
"SCHOOL'S OUT!! FINALLY!!" Some students yelled out as they booked it for the front door. "See you around?" Lucas said, holding out a fist bump.
Ben chuckles and fists bumps him. "Yea man. Later." Ben said as he grabbed his things and walked towards the exit of the school.
Alright.. Let's go say hi to grandma. Ben exits the school and begins his way towards the local hospital..luckily it isn't that far away from the school.
-10 MINUTES LATER-
Ben breaths in the air as it flows through his ruffled brown hair. "God what a day.." He sighs to himself. Can't believe the whole school saw that..so stupid.
Ben walks through their main entrance in the hospital, and goes up to the receptionist. "Welcome back Ben! Here to see your grandma?" The woman asks.
"Hey Betty, and yea." Ben said. "Alright, she'll be in the same room as last time! Enjoy your stay!' Betty said, as she waved bye to him.
Ben walks towards the room where his grandma is staying. She's been here for almost 3 weeks now..God cancer sucks..
Ben spots the room and walks in, "Hey grandma." Ben said. The woman in the bed opens her eyes and smiles. "Hey ben..how have you been? It's been a few days since I last saw you." She says, putting herself up.
"Yea sorry about that, I've been trying to focus on school.. I know that sounds stupid but.." Ben trails off.. Not knowing what to say next.
She smiles, "It's okay.. I know how hard and difficult school can be sweetie." She says. "How..how are you feeling?" Ben asked.
"Feeling better, the chemo has been helping a lot. If all goes well..I'll be out of here within a few more days." Grandma smiles.
"That's amazing to hear grandma, I'm happy for you." Ben smiles. An awkward silence begins to form for a moment..
"So..have you found a girlfriend yet?" She asks, with a hopeful tone. "Umm..u-uh..." Ben is trying to think of something to say.
Until the door opens. "Here grandma I brought the food you order-" Someone walks in.. Ben turns around and gasps in surprise.
"Piper?!" Ben says, a little loud. "AHH! OH MY GOD WRONG RO-" Before she says anything, Ben grabs her and pulls her towards him, facing his grandma.
"Grandma.. I finally found a girlfriend, this is Piper!!" Ben says in the heat of the moment. "H-HUH??!?!"
Oh dear lord what have I done..
