The Maze Of Love

Chapter fifteen

Ashley ' s POV

I woke up by a familiar voice.

"Come on shank get the heck up",it said.

I jump in fear from my slumber and saw Minho standing with his arms folded.

"What the heck do you see me getting you up from your beauty sleep!",I said stretching.

"Ya,ya whatever we got to the  Homestead".

"Ok let me just grab my shoes and I'll meet you there".

Minho jogged off,and I walked over to my favourite oak tree. I don't know why but I just love that tree I keep all my stuff there like my clothes my bow and arrows etc. I got changed into my running gear. And I walked to the Homestead to see Minho.

An arm flung over my shoulder,there at my side was my boyfriend,Newt.

"Hello,ma lady", he teased in his funny British accent. "Don't call me a lady,ok", I said.

"What bit you last night",he said.

"Sorry babe I'm not a morning person,at all",I said looking to the ground."So how did the feast go last night?"

"You missed a lot".

"Like what....".

"Well greenie,fought Gally and eventually got him on the ground for like a three seconds until Gally knocked him on the ground making him hit his noget",he chuckled.

"What happened then",I said curious.

"Well he remembered his name".

"Anddddd......".

"His name is Th-",said Newt but was cut off by whistle. It was impatient Minho waiting to leave for the maze.

"Sorry I need to go ,tell me the rest when I get back",I said turning to face Newt. I kissed him for like 5 seconds.

"Try not to die",he said. I just smiled and jogged off.

~~~2 hours later~~~~

            In the maze

"How long have we been running",I asked Minho totally out of breathe.

"About (pant)(pant)two hours (pant)",he said out of breathe too.

"Let's stop",I said and fell on the ground dying of thirst.

"Ok".

We stayed there for like half an hour trying to regain our breathe. When suddenly I heard that sound that I heard last time I was in the maze.

"Minho",I said.

"Hm".

"Do you hear that".

Minho listened closely to where the sound was coming from. We both stood up and looked to our right a stone wall was opening. Standing right there in front of us was our worst enemy. A griever.

"Ashley",said Minho.

"Ya",I sad nervously.

"RUN NOW!!!!",he shouted.

As I ran my mind was filling with thoughts. How on earth was a griever out at day,it's not possible.

I was twisting and turning trying to get away from it. I turned around trying to shoot the darn beast but it quickly shot back with a slash and cut my thigh open. Blood every where. I screamed. It then flug back and push me to the wall. My whole vision turned into blackness......

Minho's P.O.V

I heard Ashley scream and ran to her blood was surrounding her.
The was so close of stinging her I quickly jumped and cut the stinger off.

"Fucking griever",murmured under my breathe.
I stabbed the griever's chest. After that was all over I ran to Ashley and picked her up. She was ice cold.

I retraced our steps and back to the maze walls.

Newt's P.O.V

I ran to the shucking maze walls. I heard a loud scream,we all did.
There was a huge crowd,and I tried to push my way through the front. We all saw Minho running to us,but with him carrying Ashley like a bride and groom.

"Get the med-jacks now",Minho said when he was on the grass. He laid Ashley down next to me. I knelt down and put her head on my lap.

"What happened",I asked like I was about to cry.

"Griever...at....at daylight",Minho said choking up. Everyone started to shout and ask questions.

I looked down at Ashley,she looked like she was sleeping. I looked at her thigh blood everywhere. Finally Clint and Jeff came and took her away I followed and told everyone to go back to work.
