As i got home i couldn't stop thinking about el. About her perfect smile, her beautiful brown eyes, her perfect smile and her voice. I want to invite her over but I don't know if it's too soon?
Fuck it I'm inviting her. I grabbed the phone and dialed elevens number and held the phone to my ear. It took a minute but eleven picked up. "Hi el, this is max!" I said. "Hi max, what's up?" She asked me. "I was just wondering if you would like to come over to my house?" I asked. I could tell she was smiling through the phone. "Yeah sure. I will be there soon." She hung up.
I jumped onto my bed kicking my feet in excitement. Billy walked in my room "what are you doing?" He asked. "Nothing Billy, now get out my fiend is coming over." I responded. "What friend?! It better not be that Sinclair kid." He said. I rolled my eyes "no it's my friend Jane. You don't know her" he nodded and left my room.
Minutes later I heard a knock on the door, I rushed out of my room and Billy was about to get it so I ran in front of Him smiling. "I got it! I got it." I opened the door and as I expected it was el. We walked to my room. "Your room is pretty." She said. I smiled "thanks, do you wanna go on a walk?" I asked. She nodded with a smile.
We walked out of my room and towards the door. "We're gonna go for a walk! We will be back in a bit!" I shouted to my mom. We both exited the front door and felt the fresh air on our faces.
We started to walk around the neighborhood.
"I'm glad we're friends el you seem really cool." I said. She smiled "thanks."
She chuckled and looked down at her shoes. "How's things going with you and mike?" I asked her wondering. "I don't know. It seems like he's avoiding me. He's been lying, friends don't lie." She said sadly. "He's avoiding you? Why?" I asked confused. "Ever since he had a talk with hopper he's been acting different. Kind of rude." She said.
"That Dick" I said. She looked confused. "If he's ever like this to you again, you dump his ass." I told her. "Dump his ass?" She asked confused? "Mhm. Boyfriends shouldn't be avoiding you and being rude." She smiled and looked down "dump his ass... got it" she chuckled. She was so cute. She looked at me and smiled.
When we made a full circle around the block we ran back inside as it started to rain. "Glad we got in in time" I said smiling. "Glad we got in in time." She repeated with a smile. God she had the cutest smile I've ever seen.
It's official, I have romantic feelings towards Jane hopper.
We sat down on my bed and just sat there for a moment in silence while I think of what we should do, "wanna do prank calls?" I said finally. "Sure, but who could we call?" She asked. "I got the perfect thing." I said with a smile. I got up and walked towards my closet and got out a board, an empty soda bottle and a marker. I put the board on the bed and wrote down the names: mike, Lucas, will, Dustin, mrs byers, mrs wheeler, Billy and hopper in a circle and placed the bottle in the middle. "Whoever it lands on we prank call.
I spun the bottle and it landed on hopper. Perfect. We both laughed. I brought the phone on the bed. "What should we say?" I asked el. "I don't know." She said. "I have an idea..." I said with a mischievous look on my face. Eleven chuckled and I dialed in hoppers number and held it up to my ear.
"Hello sir, you have ordered 43 gallons of melted, expired, stinky cheese, I'm a bit concerned but would you like to cancel that order"
"Who is this"
"Sir this is cheater cheeses, so good you'll wanna cheat on your wife"
"Ok punk idk who this is but stop your wasting my time."
"So you would like to cancel?"
"Yes"
"Perfect sir, call again anytime you need cheese"
He hangs up the phone and me and eleven die laughing in each others arms.
